Colin was sitting in front of the table in the Slytherin common room, with a roll of parchment and quills. He hoped that they would work out a brilliant plan to heist the first years and bring "glory" back to their house after a long period of losing. Well, mainly he hoped that everyone at least showed up on time, and that none of the other heisters would get on his nerves too much.

Lucy quickly reentered the Slytherin common room after having gone on an excursion to find anything that would help the current situations. She was at a loss for ideas, damnit, and the idea of Slytherin losing AGAIN? Well, that was a bit of a pain in the ass.
Tossing her long blonde hair over her shoulder, she sunk into a couch, a quill and parchment resting in her lap. A polite nod and sly smirk was tossed in Colin's direction as she did so. "Afternoon, Colin," she said slowly.
Re: Friday, January 6th -- afternoonzoeymontclairJuly 3 2006, 03:41:58 UTC
Zoey strutted into the common room, nose tilted in the air just so as she made her way to the little group gathering together by the table. Clearly she was getting restless in her old age. She would have never signed up to do something as childish as heisting a firstie. Ever.
First of all, she wasn't one to get her hands dirty(unless she was ordered to do so by the Dark Lord). Zoey wasn't quite sure what all heisting entailed, but if she actually had to go out of her way to do something? Just to win some silly contest? Well, it wasn't exactly her idea of fun. And secondly, what if she was given one of those mudbloods?!? Ew! They couldn't actual expect her to touch the thing, could they? How vile! How loathsome!! How utterly horrid! The only reason she would touch one of them was to end their life... and somehow she didn't think she'd get away with that sort of thing here at Hogwarts. Bloody Dumbledore.
Thank god for wands and the ability to levitate. That would ensure that she wouldn't have to touch the creatures

Steph slid into the common room, bookbag swinging almost violently on her shoulder as she hobbed over to the small group, dropping down beside Lucy on the couch as she slid her bag off her shoulder and dropped her crutches to the ground, just in time to hear Zoey speak.
"You didn't have to sign up, you know. There are other things you could be doing." She rolled her eyes before looking at the other two. "So, do we have any idea about what to do yet?"

Steph made her way back to the common room after breakfast, her mind still thinking about the heist and if there were any firsties in the other houses who she could convince to help her carry her things and then shove them through the portrait hole. Dropping down on one of the couches, she swung her foot up onto the table in front of it, pulling out a book and leaning back as she started to read.

Amorisa walked into the Common Room, her body shaking, a little more upset then she should have been over the comments. She wasn't filth, she wasn't a mudblood, but the comments didn't hurt anyway less.
Plopping on the couch next to Steph and grabbed a pillow, clutching it to her chest protectively
Re: Saturday, January 7th, Late morningsteph_mccoyJuly 4 2006, 04:25:56 UTC
Steph looked up as she felt someone plop down beside her, raising an eyebrow slighly. Looking back at her book she tried to ignore the younger girl, not wanting to get into the middle of her drama. As she rolled her eyes, she looked back up.
"What the bloody hell happened to you?" She asked, barely keeping the derisive tone from her voice.
Re: Saturday, January 7th, Late morningamorisaamherstJuly 4 2006, 04:28:54 UTC
"I was called a mudblood...and filth..." Amorisa muttered quietly hugging the pillow closer to her. She sighed and shook her head. "I know comments like that shouldn't bother me, but it was the first time I was ever called, it, so, it was kind of a shock."
Saturday, January 7th -- Early Afternooncolin_mayfieldJuly 4 2006, 03:47:09 UTC
Colin entered the common room, sliding down in the nearest couch and taking up the whole thing, by stretching his legs out. He was casually reading through his History of Magic book, reading ahead before classes started up again. Not to mention, he had his mind on the Firstie heist and how they were going to win that. If anyone, especially Zoey, botched their house's chances for winning this year, he was going to be pissed off.

Daciana wandered into the common room, scratching her nose lightly. She had an extra credit book for ancient runes tucked underneath her arm as well as another book about the history of runes and war, all for fun. She really wanted to see if she could impress both Professor Ailwin and the OWL examiners when the time came. Smiling brightly, she wandered over to a chair near the fire, curling her legs up underneath her. It was going to be a very nice afternoon indeed.

Lysander wandered into the Common Room, wondering what he should do with himself for the rest of the day. Not thinking up anything in particular, he wondered if he should grab one of his novels to read from his dorm.
But, he didn't really feel like reading today. Instead, he sat down in a chair by himself, thinking of something to do and wondering if anyone he knew would come into the Common Room.

Rowan walked down the stairs of the girl's dormitory and into the common room. It was Saturday and she was quite content with doing absolutely nothing.
Spotting a familiar blonde near the fire, Rowan strode up behind her and peered over shoulder. She smiled as she looked at the books the girl was holding. "Good choices," Rowan said casually. She had always loved Ancient Runes, and had read a few extra books on the side over the years.
Out of the corner of her eye, Rowan spotted Colin and some first year who she didn't know by name, choosing to ignore them both, she sat down across from Daciana.

Denys stepped into the common room and stretched, trying to loosen a kink in his neck. He had spent the night cramped in the far corner of his bed, pillow wrapped around his head to escape Longshore's erratic snoring pattern and now his neck and left arm were giving him hell for it.
"Idiot. Next time I'll put a pillow over his head. Someone like him can't need too much oxygen, if any at all," the boy mumbled to himself.
Re: Saturday, January 7thdreamingopheliaJuly 4 2006, 07:36:41 UTC
"If you're talking about Lucas Longshore," which undoubtedly he was- an idiot who didn't need much oxygen- "I am most sure that I agree. Would you be concerned even if he did need the oxygen?" she asked pointedly.
She gave him none of her usual smiles. In fact, Aislin looked rather perplexed. "Do you have time to sit?" in a most shadowy neglected corner where no one else would hear them, although most surely he would get the point.
Re: Saturday, January 7thmerewiperJuly 4 2006, 07:41:03 UTC
Denys automatically turned his head to look at Aislin and was immediately punished for it. "Nor anymore," he winced and would have elaborated if the girl hadn't looked a little beside herself. Pulling a chair with him, he followed her to the corner.
"Is everything alright?" Genuine concern was audible in the boy's voice. "Did something happen?"
Re: Saturday, January 7thdreamingopheliaJuly 4 2006, 07:48:13 UTC
Even if he didn't he was going to do so anyway. What on earth was he thinking? Why would he... encourage Elanor? How could he hurt her so? It wasn't right!
"No, everything is not alright," Aislin replied. She pouted a little, then stared directly at him, "did something happen? I don't know, you tell me- did something happen that made you go crazy? I mean..." Aislin looked around to see that no one seemed occupied with eavesdropping on their conversation, "I know that she left you for that... brat. I know that you were hurt by it, but that is no reason to go and hurt her, and that's what you'll be doing if she ever finds out- which she will!"
Aislin suddenly realised that she might be sounding just a little bit crazy, so she took a deep breath, "Denys," she said his name sharply, "why are you encouraging Elanor?" A year ago she wouldn't have cared too much, but she had seen the other girl cry, and it had been over Tristan's death. She never wanted to see it again.

Belladonna paced the common room, it was hard enough to see Alexander Departie when he constantly hid away in the boy's dorm, or wasn't in the common room at large!
He'd become harder and harder to keep tabs on, she knew all the little harlots who he associated with, pathetic girls not worth him, no, not at all. Belladonna should be his girlfriend, she should be the only girl.
But Alex was stubborn, even when they were younger he constantly rejected her, but she knew she just had to keep after him, he will after all come around to her.
