Dom was heading back to the Common Room to study for his Transfigurations exam the next day. Bloody smegging midterms, causing him unneccessary stress. He couldn't wait unti he could just get this whole graduating thing over and done with.
Books tucked under one arm, he made his way down the hallway.

Wanting to avoid her own common room (the feeling it gave still made the girl uncomfortable), Lucy found herself wandering the halls. Now, normally, she'd be attempting to study for mid-terms, but at the moment? She didn't feel like it. At all. It was her last year! Why work more than necessary.
With a heavy sigh, she made her way down a hall, until she bumped into someone. "Oh! I--sorry," she said, refraining from cursing at whoever it was.

Dom felt something ricochet off of his shoulder and he realized it had been a human being. "S'ok," he said to the person, and then noticed her as Lucy. "Oh, hey there Lucy," he said. "Taking a break from studying?" he asked.
Merlin, studying, was not exactly his ideal topic of conversation, but he supposed it was relevant, after all.

Brushing herself off, Lucy quickly shook her head. "Oh, no! I'm fine," she said as she did so. "And... yeah. It's driving me absolutely mad. You'd think with hols, the teachers would... I don't know, feel the cheer and spirit? Transfiguration alone is enough to kill me."
She grumbled a little. "Anyway! How're you? We haven't really talked in ages."

Dom nodded, "Yeah I know, but just one more day until relative FREEDOM," he said enthusiastically. "And I think the professors have immunity to Holiday Cheer," he added glumly. The only thing he was actually looking forward to about the hols was not having exams to study for. He wouldn't get much done academically-wise over the hols, between spending time with the family and worrying about Anora. Merlin, he was not expecting to enjoy these hols.

Folding her arms over her chest, Lucy's nose wrinkled a little. "Freedom being the operative word? Family's better than being here, I suppose, but still just as boring and pointless." She paused for a moment. "And I'm sure they are. Not to mention I'm convinced Moreau hates me and is going to fail me no matter what I do."
Books tucked under one arm, he made his way down the hallway.
