I know you've all been anxiously anticipating the return of Now Playing, and hopefully you'll think it's better than ever!
Meet the Mods
Well, I'm Laura (aka intotheheart), your Head Mod. I'm totally in love with NP and HiH and all the people that come along with it. Most of you have probably seen me around here, since I've been here since June 2004!! Wow. I'm such an oldie. Anyways. I'm very friendly and hopefully approachable, and what I really wanted to do was make NP more accessible and move at a faster, more controlled pace than before.
Most of our communicating will hopefully be done through our lovely new officials community, but feel free to IM me at onehearthopelove (AIM) with any immediate concerns! ♥
Woo, Gabster (aka starrynights75) here. Most of you know me through the crack!NP Chats, but if you don't, I play bewitched_sam_ and master_tybalt . They are my children and I love them dearly. I'm also quite the obsessive little fangirl, so don't be afraid if I tacklecling you/your characters. I'm really quite harmless. :D
I hope to see/hear from you folks quite often. :D I'm always open to suggestions/comments/questions, so feel free to e-mail me or drop me an IM.
Hi I'm Jewel (aka 1deadheart), I'm now a Co-Mod here at NP. I'm a fairly experienced on-line roleplayer (10 years this past January, so I'm almost at 11 years online), I also have done(and still do) table-top and LARPS. I tend to be a straight-from-the-hip type of person, don't expect sugar-coating from me. I'm hoping to build on the already amazing foundation that NP has and build a role-play community we all can love.
Basically, the run down of the duties is as such:
+ Jewel is in charge of Community memberships, the Grounds, Great Hall & Hallways.
+ Gabby is in charge of Plot/The Daily Prophet, the Dorms & Hogsmeade
+ Laura is in charge of Character Submissions/Final say in EVERYTHING *song of doom*, Classrooms & Libraries.
Some More Important Information
You may have noticed the journal I'm using to post this with. That's right, it's Dumbles in the lovely form of np_dumbledore. We're introducing Dumbles here to help orchestrate some plots we'll be adding to the Now Playing Mix, and so that he can announce things -- like Halloween Balls :D. Absolutely EVERYONE needs to friend Dumbles, as he may occasionally have an important message that you need to see.
Another community that you absolutely MUST add to your friends list (not join, just friend!) is hihnp_officials. We've already got some VERY important posts up there that we really need you to respond to. We want to know exactly who is active and who is inactive as quickly as possible. This is also the community where you can submit concerns, future plot ideas, etc.
ANOTHER community you may want to check out is hihnp_plotting. Within the next while, we'll be setting it up so you can RP backstories/future stories -- not for points mind, we're not counting machines here. As well, you'll be able to use that community to set up backstory with your fellow classmates :)
Some exciting news for you all, we're increasing our rating slightly. Ratings throughout Now Playing are increased to Movie!PG-13. A full description of what's expected from that rating can be found here.
Any questions can be directed to hihnp_officials. We are currently in the process of opening up new threads, as well as a new application post. DON'T WORRY, if your application is in the old post we still have it, and are getting to it as quickly as possible.
Please state that your character is ACTIVE here.
Let us know where your character's allegiance lies here.
And apply for Head Boy/Girl, or Prefect positions here.
Dumbles will make an appearance in the Great Hall, and ONLY after he has said his piece will the Role Playing at NP recommence. Except him to make an appearance in the next two days :)
