Zak stared up into the sky, admiration filled his eyes as he watched the younger girl pacing up and down the field. Who turned up early to do suicides? Fair play... He thought, as he dropped his gaze to find a few of the arrivals were taking a moment to watch her instead of immediately getting into the air. "Everybody up there with her!" He encouraged. Zak didn't blame them for their surprise"C'mon, the Cup can still be ours. Get on your brooms already!"

Everyone had been devastated following the Hufflepuff game, Zak included. The moment that kid's fingers clasped around the golden ball Zak had felt all the work of this year become absolutely worthless. This was all he had worked for, the Cup was all he wanted out of this year. Schoolwork had been abandoned, he'd fail all his exams at this rate and be forced to leave the education system with no qualifications and a wasted year. If they didn't win the Quidditch, he might as well have dropped out after the spectacle that was last Christmas. He would've been better off not returning. Zak sighed. There was still time. There was always time until that whistle blew in that last match. "Never give up, eh?" He mumbled more to himself than anything as he tightened his glove strap before pushing up into the sky and joining the rest of the team.
