Rebecca yawned as she walked down the stairs from her dorm room, carrying a book in her hand that she had picked up from the library for one of her classes. She'd finished all her homework, thankfully, and now was on to researching for an upcoming paper. What else to do? And you know those Ravenclaws, getting to things earlier than they necessarily needed to. She didn't like to procrastinate, anyway, so it suited her just fine. She sat down at a table before popping in a piece of gum and opening the book.

After having had a day to recuperate from the dance, Dylan was back to normal. After a rather uneventful day, she returned to the common room with the intent of a bit of evening reading. Noticing Becks Honey on her way in, though, she decided to have a bit of a detour.

"Hey, Honey. How's it going?"

"Sullivan!" She looked up from the book with a big grin on her face. There was only a number of people who called her by that last name, and then she could recognize that voice anywhere, so she pretty much knew who it was before she even caught sight of the other girl.

"Going well, just reading, which is totally not normal for me," She said sarcastically, her grin still in place, "How about you?"

Dylan shrugged a bit, hopping up to sit on table where Becks's things weren't. She didn't want to accidentally break something of the girl's, after all. "It's going alright," Dylan replied, with a grin. "I didn't see you at the ball, though. Had something better to do?" She asked, curiously.

Hannah strolled into the common room. She was tired, too tired than she could handle. It was another night of random frightening dreams. She looked at JFK for a moment and then saw that he had a BLACK EYE. WHAT THE HELL?!

"JFK! WHAT HAPPENED?" Hannah wasn't concerned or anything, she was just intrigued.

"Kind of?" Hannah sat down beside him. She was totally ready to get her mind off of the nightmare. JFK was an interesting character. Although him mentioning CeCe made Hannah wonder if they'd broken up. Maybe Hannah wasn't the biggest relationship screw up in the school!

"Well, CeCe is definitely mental for dating you, but everyone knows that. What did you do?"

Atticus sat alone on the couch. He held a rather old looking book in his hands and he was enjoying the rather interesting novel, perfectly content to be spending a Saturday evening to his own devices.

Illyria had just finished an evening bath and had decided to see if Atticus was still reading in the Common Room. She spotted him as she came down the stairs and smiled before sliding onto the spot next to him. "What have you started reading now?" she asked, studying the cover of the book he held in his hands.

Atticus peered over his glasses at his sister. "Oh, just The Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. It's about the French Revolution and the guillotine," he said the last word with a bit more dramatic emphasis.

He closed the book and turned to face Illyria. "So, little Lire, how was your bath?"

Illyria wrinkled her nose at mention of the guillotine. "Oh not that old thing," she said. "It was so horribly messy and barbaric." The things people invented without magic could be ghastly.

"Hm, it was quite relaxing, I should say. Saturday evenings are quite nice for baths because most people are running amok, doing various social things, the like."

Having escaped from the horrors of Charms, Gillichu curled up in an armchair next to the fire, waiting for his hair to thaw out. Stupid Hunter with her stupid wand and inability to perform any kind of magic right. He sneezed loudly, sniffed, and rubbed his hands together. Honestly, wasn't Ravenclaw supposed to be the smart house? How the hell did a dimwit like her end up in it?!

"What happened to you, sunshine?" Becky caught sight of the boy as she plopped into a chair opposite him. She was feeling quite cold herself, so the obvious place to be while in the common room was near the fire!!

HARK, A GIRL. Looked to be a fifth or sixth year or so, which meant part of the Axis. And thus to be ignored. Which he did, cuddling Dorothea closer. He'd tried to coax Philomena down from his room as well, but the cat was not having it and had just burrowed deeper under his covers. Prat.

Gillichu never had been one for wanting to talk to her much. Which, normally, probably should have turned a person off... but in this case, Rebecca didn't mind the challenge. Either he was just really shy, or he had one of those phobias where he was afraid of girls and thought they all had cooties. Which would make sense, all little kids went through that period. Although she could have sworn she had moved on from it by his age.

"Come on, Gilly!" Yeah, she'd probably not get a very good reaction from that nickname, but what could ya do? "You can't ignore me forever."

Thursday November 9th - MORNING! 7th year DORM THREAD maddox_dixon January 10 2008, 23:49:16 UTC
Maddox had just woken up, and was in a sleepy daze at the moment. He sat up and glanced over at Jamie's bed. It appeared he was still sleeping. Maddox felt a surge of anger at the other boy, as now he heard about Jamie and Dylan. That and having spent time with a miserable CeCe meant that Maddox was very angry with Jamie. Not that his behaviour would change at all. Jamie and Mads weren't exactly the best of friends.

Maddox grunted as he got up to get his morning things, but took his time this morning. On the plus side, hopefully CeCe would be finished with Jamie and realize that she could spend her time with better people. Not that Maddox thought that would be himself. No, but that didn't matter. Anyone was better than Jamie. Seriously.

Normally Maddox would have apologized. Had it been anyone but Jamie, he would have apologized and attempted to be quieter. But this was Jamie Kendrick, not someone whose sleep he particularly cared about. So, Maddox continued to make noise and get his things together. In fact, perhaps he would just become more noisy. Which he did.

"Sod off, Kendrick." Maddox spoke under his breath, but he still said it.
