Monday, Oct. 9th Monday Morning after Girls' Night im_a_trip November 4 2007, 02:40:37 UTC
Ohhhhh.... Trip felt like she was gonna die. She pressed her head against the wall tiles as she slumped to the bathroom floor. The drinking part of last night had been fun, but no one warned her about the throwing up morning part.

Won't someone come to at least interrupt her misery?

Head. Pounding. POUNDING, I SAY!!!

Anya was inclined to having head aches, migraines even... but she hadn't had one hurt this bad in a long while. She'd never gotten drunk before, so she had never known the agony of a hang over. And wow. Was she still dizzy??

She rushed to the bathroom, finding an empty stall and... you know... doing what was needed to relieve her upset stomach. This was horrible -- it was MONDAY! Which meant Anya had to go to classes soon! How in the world would she get through the day feeling like this??

It was only after she'd puked that she realized someone else was in the bathroom with her. "Trippy? Do you feel as rubbish as I do??" She kind of collapsed in a very ungraceful way onto the floor, looking up at the ceiling and hoping the world would stop spinning.

"Not at all. Rubbish feels better than I do." Trip opened her eyes, only to realize that was a bad idea. "Is the room still moving, or is it just me?"

Haha, classes. Trip might not make it to class. Not her first one, at least. She made a mental note not to drink on Sunday, when her stomach decided to rebel again. After having puked some more, Trip made a mental note not to drink EVER.

She groaned. "How much did I HAVE last night? It didn't seem like alot..."

"It's..." She took in a deep breath, willing her stomach to stop lurching and threatening to cause her to throw up. This was a horrible, horrible feeling. A mind numbingly bad headache plus throwing up? Yikes. If Anya had known drinking could cause this, she would have had second thoughts on drinking. Maybe her brothers had been right with their warnings... "Yeah, It's still spinning."

In all actuality, Anya most likely wasn't going to make it to class either. She would still feel horrible, and she'd likely not be able to focus anyway. Plus, she bet she looked like complete crap, and who wanted to be seen like that? Not her.

"Make it stop, Trippy..." She whined, before adding, "I don't know. I didn't think I drank that much either... though I can't remember anything after about the third or fourth glass..."

Trip managed to stumble over to the sink and splash water on her face. Filling a nearby cup with water, she slowly made her way over to Anya's stall. "Here, have some water. That way you have something to throw up later." Trip had already found out how easy water came back up.

Trip slumped back down to the floor. "Mmm, the floor is nice and cold. You should really try it." She laughed, barely. "All the cool kids are doing it."

Bleh. That wasn't exactly incentive for her to drink water then, was it? But still, she somehow managed to crawl outside the stall, taking the water from her friend and sipping at it slowly. After she thought she drank enough, she did just what Trip suggested -- this time lying flat on her stomach, her cheek resting against the cool ground. Yes, she had to admit it felt nice.

"Despite my feeling like utter crap at the moment, from what I can recall... last night was amazing." And hey, she even managed to giggle a little at the memories. That was a good sign!

Trip tried not to focus on how shit she felt, and on last night instead. Remembering bits and pieces, she had to giggle too.

"It was fun. We should hang out with Anora and Hannah more often." She laughed again. Ow, that hurt! "What did you call us? The four amicas or something?"

"Definitely," She agreed without hesitation, as Hannah and Anora were quickly becoming two of her favorite upper years. Role models, much? Oh yes, she wanted to be quite like them when she was in their grade. These thoughts would never cease to surprise her, what with her and Hannah's history.

Anya took a moment to collect her thoughts, trying to remember just what it was she had called them. It was during a toast or something, wasn't it? Ah, that's right -- she recalled it as a random picture of a sombrero crossed her mind's eye, "The four amigos!!" Giggle, "Have you ever seen that movie?"

"Four Amigos?" Trip thought about it for a minute. "Do you mean the Three Amigos? 'Cause that movie was brilliant. My favorite part is the bit with the invisible man. And the dance! We need to learn that dance things they do!"

As for Hannah and Anora- there were worse people to grow up into. And it seemed as though dance offs and drunken nights were a pretty fun legacy to take over when the older girls graduated.

She nodded her head, although ouch! That hurt... plus Trip probably couldn't even see her nodding, so that defeated the whole purpose. "Yes, that is what I meant." Anya was glad that she had known which movie she was talking about -- of course she assumed her friend would know, and hadn't bothered to explain further. She laughed at the mention of the invisible man, "Yes!! I love that part! And we totally have to learn that dance," Oi. The laughing was starting to make her stomach churn again. Not good. "I like the random songs they sing. Oh! And you know when they're in the desert and two of them run out of water? And the other one has a non stop flow of water in his canteen thing? Love it!" Despite her tummy, Anya could help but laugh further. She didn't even know what that scene was so funny, it just was.

"Gosh. I love us. Us and them. Us four. We're gonna rule the school." Whee!!

"Oh man, that scene is great!" Trip laughed until it hurt. Which didn't take long. "Oh, I gotts puke again."

Once Trip had finished, she took a minute to rest. "We are awesome. And we're totally gonna rule school. Especially the dance- it will be perfect." Because it had to be.

"We're going to own that dance floor." Omg, she could NOT WAIT!

Speaking of puking... Anya knew that she couldn't hold it anymore, and quickly crawled back to the stall and up to the toilet. Throwing up was one of the worst things imaginable, in her mind. Her throat was hurting from all the acidity.

"We're a rubbish lot, the two of us..." She had a small smile on her lips as she thought how pathetic they were. "Glad you're here to share it with me, though."

The dance would be brilliant. If they ever recovered from their night of alcoholic debauchery.

"As soon as I can, I'm researching anti-hangover spells." Of course, that might not be for a while.

Trip smiled at the ceiling. "Yeah, I'm glad you're here too." She thought back to last night. "I'm glad you weren't mad at me. And remember what Hannah said? About having a Nora to depend on?"

Trip said this when she was drunk. But she meant it, so she was going to say it sober, too.

"You're kinda like my Nora. Friends forever and all that rot, yeah?

Yeah, she remembered... which brought an even bigger smile to her face. Hannah had been right. Anya could be jealous of the older girls' relationship with one another, but what was to say that she and Trip couldn't have the same? Better, even!

This was a rather sentimental moment for the two -- they didn't always have these moments, but it was nice. And kind of amusing that it was happening while they were both sprawled out on the bathroom floor. Good times, it would definitely be a memory to look back on and laugh hysterically at. Heh.

"Same here... you're the Hannah to my Nora." She twisted her head around to look over at Trip and smile, again thinking how glad she was that they could share this moment. "Even if sometimes I just want to kill you." Heheh.

Trip had to laugh again. Hey, her head was pounding a bit less!

"I'm not so sure I'm a Hannah. She's kinda out there, you know? I think you can be Hannah, I'll be Anora." That seemed to fit much better.

As for Anya's kill comment, well. Trip knew she kinda deserved it. "Listen, if you two had decided to talk to each other before that, I wouldn't have charmed you. It worked, didn't it?" She considered promising not to do it again, but decided against it. "I just don't like it when people fight."

Anya shrugged. Or she would have, had she not been lying on the floor. Well, she thought of shrugging at least so thats all that mattered. "Sure! I'll be Hannah..." Frankly, that was probably more appropriate -- as much as she liked to deny it, her and Hannah had some commonalities. More that even she was aware of.

She then rolled her eyes, "I'm not angry with you. Chill out, woman. But next time warn me, will ya?" She then giggled, remembering the scene that played out with her and JJ. "Things are fine now. So I guess I have you to thank. I mean, its still awkward, but him and I will be back to normal soon." That was something to be thankful for!!
