Remy was doing exactly what he did best on the squashy, comfortable sofas of the Gryffindor common room - lazing. He spread himself all over it, legs dangling, arms stretched and reclining, long torso taking up every inch of space he could possibly manage and leaving none for anyone else.
The temperature outside was enticing (though not desperately so), but the reflected sunlight through the window felt amazing on his face, and Remy was dozing lightly. He rather enjoyed spontaneous midday naps with the common room buzzing around him, and this was no exception.
Sigh. This was all rather luxurious, truth be told. He'd be happy to stay there all day.

There was something in Mondays that were distinctly gross. Tedious wasn't quite the word, and Claire rather liked to think that Mondays were disgusting in the way that they forced humble little students into the school week. The fourth year's weekend had been interesting to say the least, and she would have loved for the weekend to maybe steal a bit of Monday and Tuesday and make those days its own. Well, that would never happen but Claire could at least sneak off to the common room during lunch to ponder a very serious question- would Archer mind (or more to the point, notice) if she skipped class next period?
Probably.
Claire frowned distastefully at the concept of going to DADA after lunch- otherwise she would have been clear for the rest of the day. "That's not nice," she said absently when she noticed her brother nearby. "What if some poor first year wants a seat, and can't find one?" He did look so peaceful, but he also looked like a bit of an idiot laying there on a Monday like that. Fridays would be much more suitable

"Don't know, don't care." Remy yawned, blearily opening one eye to stare upwards at his little sister. "Oi. You're blocking my sun." He waved her aside, shifting himself slightly to get the warmth back on himself, instead of on the back of Claire. What a waste of warm sunshine, on a fourth year.

Well that wasn't very kind. Claire watched Remy shuffle around and finally got what his intentions were. The sun was rather nice and warm, wasn't it? When he had settled she smiled impishly and took a step over towards the 'blocking sunlight from Remy' direction. "Don't even want to talk to your dear darling sister?" Claire asked sweetly. Annoying older brothers was what younger sisters lived for sometimes, and it made Monday seem a little better.

Most of the Gryffindor house was off at classes, the common roomw as empty save for a student here or there who had a free period. This gave Barrett time and he used the time.
Barrett was doing push-ups, he had a nice clear spot on the floor and a blue exercise mat put down, his body moved rythmatically up and down in fluid motions. His breathing was deep and even, a bit of sweat was building up around his head, small beads glistened and ran over his bald head to his face and then drip off his nose.
His head was down and he counted internally with every trust up of his body, his arms straightening. He'd go for his run after, but right now he worked on regular conditioning.

Thank Merlin and Morgana for Wednesday afternoons off. Lea needed it after today's history of magic class which was predictably and gnawingly boring. She'd almost fallen asleep three times and was only properly revived once she'd munched down about 12 biscuits at lunch.
The question now was, what to do with the rest of her day. Homework was completely out of the question, as always. But she also hadn't really seen anyone around to do anything with. Life was lame when you couldn't keep track of your friends. She flopped gracefully into an oversized armchair to think.

The big black Gryffindor was still in bed, he had gone to bed in his shorts and now lay on his stomach, his blankets wrapped around his legs, his head half buried in his pillow his arms under the pillow plumping it up, and snoring.
It was a mixture, sometimes light snores sometimes heavy ones. He hadn't gone to be until late and now he was sleeping half the morning away.
