Monday, March 6 - Lunch at the Puff table mynameisanya January 16 2007, 22:20:33 UTC
Anya found a seat at the Great Hall and wondered quickly where had Logan gone off to..probably to go sit with Sara or something. Anya rolled her eyes to herself as she thought and maybe laughed a bit.

He should of course be with J.J. and her celebrating Hufflepuff's awesome win! She really was still too excited about the whole thing, bouncing around after the game Saturday and all of Sunday. Just thinking about it now made her smile widely.

J.J. had indeed pulled Logan out of his loser shell and had made him at least celebrate in some fashion. Or be happy for him at any rate. Some best mate eh?

But overall it had been a great weekend. A brilliant weekend! Especially for Quidditch which made him grin all over again. They won! It was brilliant!! And look who was at the Puff table, none other than his other best mate Anya. Brilliant!

"'lo love!" He sat down with a plop in front of her and grinned. "What's for lunch?"

Anya giggled a bit more and rolled her eyes this time at J.J.'s smile. He had been wearing it ALLLL WEEEKEND. But then again so had she.

"Oh..this and that.." Really Anya hadn't decided yet, the roast beef did look good but so did the chicken...

"Lost him again huh? Probably tired of us talking about quidditch."

She shouldn't be giggling because yes he had SEEN that smile on her face too. So they were in the same bloody boat here. Yep.

"Hmm..." he tried to decide between them but in the end just gave up, opting to just put as much as he could fit on his plate. Of course roast beef could go on top of his chicken. It conserves space and he was a hungry growing boy.

Taking a mental pause from food, he tried to think of who Anya was talking about before realizing that by 'he' she was referring to Logan. Oh right. "I don't know what's up with him, you would think that he could understand when we're excited about something. We've heard him prattling on about some book for ages before right?"

...okay so maybe he had thrown a pillow whenever Logan had started prattling on about a book but that didn't matter. He was still talking about it.

"And plus who could get tired of talking about quidditch? Blimey it's the best sport ever."

"True.." Anya smiled brightly but turned to try and see if she saw Logan over at Sara's table at all. But then why should she care, she abrubtly turned back around and started filling her own plate.

"And that game was awesome...if not a bit short. But hey I won't blame you for that." She winked at J.J. and filled her glass with juice.

J.J. looked over towards the table and from the looks of it he couldn't see them. Which was probably a good thing. Otherwise he would be bloody gagging because they were sickening all of the time, and he didn't fancy hurling all over his lunch.

Sticking out his tongue at her, he rolled his eyes. "Oh I'm flattered you won't, thooough," he pointed his roll at her and grinned. "If I hadn't caught the snitch then Cece woulda and that's bloody ridiculous. And it was an awesome game, best one so far."

"Too short." Anya huffed, "At least I got to take a couple swings."

She started eating and for a moment was silent and started smiling again happily..then threw a roll at J.J. "That was pretty brill though. You catching the snitch. First official catch for Mr. J.J. Rizzo."

Anya grinned wider, knowing that he would probably retaliate with flying bread of his own but not minding at all.

"Good swings too," he said with his mouth stuffed with his roll. No manners weren't something he had ever learned, at least they had been taught but never stuck. Oh bloody well.

He went back to eating and looked up at her smiling again, which caused him to smile more. It was just a brilliant way to spend the weekend, smiling your bloody head off! Well until she launched the roll at him.

"Thank you," he said, watching as it hit him on the shoulder. Aww it almost missed him. Picking up another one he threw it right back at her, not caring that it was immature. "But you should stop praising my genius. It's just too much for me to take," he sighed as if it was a terrible fate and then just smirked, grabbing his pumpkin juice and sipping some.

Anya snorted? noooo.. she never snorted... "You are a bit big headed. You'd think with a big head like that you wouldn't need to look at my homework all the time."

And with that she stuck out her tongue before feeling the need to hide behind..something...in case. Sadly there was nothing around and she just looked like she was cringing while in wait for the inevitable payback.

"Oh really?" J.J. narrowed his eyes and went to kick her under the table. Hopefully she got it, otherwise he sent another roll flying at her as well. Ruddy best mates always so loving right?

Then with a cheeky grin, he leaned over his plate, "But I'm big headed, and all big headed prats need girls who'll do the work for them. Otherwise when do we have time to perfect ourselves?" Oh he was going to get something for that he was sure, and he snorted, trying to duck behind anything, which happened to be nothing. Bloody hell why wasn't there anything to duck behind in the Great Hall?

"Oi!" First off he had kicked her! Then he added that bit about girls doing work for him? With that she saw him cringe and she knew that he knew he was asking for it. And she gave it to him. With Poking. Much Much poking of his ticklish spots.

"You asked for it!" She giggled as she began assaulting him.

Oi. That was not what Darin wanted to see on his way to lunch, thanks. Swerving from his intended path of sitting with Derek, Darin walked to the Puff table and made a point of leaning between J.J. and Anya to break up the little ticklefest that seemed to be going on. No blokes got to "tickle" his sister. Darin knew exactly where that went; he'd employed the tactic several times himself in fact. That kind of thing didn't fly with his Anya. Surely he'd taught her better than to fall for such an obvious ploy?

"Never mind me," Darin said as he reached between them to grab a roll. "And oi, J.J.? I know you won us the game but you might want to cool that, eh?" He paused to smile at the younger boy in what was most definitely a gesture of warning rather than friendship before taking off for the Claw table.

J.J. burst out in a fit of laughter as Anya started to tickle him, a lot. Bloody hell he knew he had asked for it, but not this bloody much! And if he could he would of liked to point out that it was Anya tickling him, not the other way around. Though probably if Darin hadn't butted in he would be attempting to get Anya to stop by tickling her. Just a bloody circle really ( ... )

For some CRAZY reason her brother had to keep Anya from torturing J.J. when he rightly deserved it. He needed his ego deflated! She gave Darin a rather icy glare for rudely interrupting her attack.

"What'd he say?' Anya asked as she huffed and took a sip of her juice, since apparently her brothers were never going to let her have any fun ever. "He's such a prat."

"Nothing," J.J. answered innocently, preparing his defences just in case she came in for another attack. He would not be caught on the unawares!

Laughing, he just rolled his eyes, "Big brother things..." And he was about to add something else, but seeing as how the last thing had earned him a tickling he didn't relish another. Instead he just kept his mouth shut and laughed to himself.

"Fine." Anya decided that she didn't want to know anyway and if he didn't want to talk then neither would she.

This food was really interesting. She didn't need anyone to talk to while she ate. Nope, not at all.
