I am on the 3rd week of a couch-to-60 minutes walking a day program. I'm enjoying it very much. I'm using my treadmill (finally getting some value out of it!) and both feeling very proud of myself for exercising and genuinely enjoying the act. Walking with proper posture and not pushing yourself too hard too fast make a big difference. I never appreciated that before.
I read old issues of Vogue on the treadmill and tear out the pages I want to keep. So I submerge into thoughts of clothes and shoes and jewelry I could make and emerge 25 minutes later, refreshed and energized and very proud of myself.
