This entire conversation resonated too much with responsibility, something Geoffrey was less than familiar with. Still, better to try than to pretend not to hear. "Honesty's a good idea," he said, nodding to Raleigh, "the only thing will be getting people to believe the truth's the truth." Which was damned hard to do when no one was all that likely to believe what the Quibbler printed. He still though character assassination was the way to go, because people were far more likely to believe gossip than anything else, if for no other reason than that they really wanted to.
"As for making them all jumpy... how d'you propose we do that? This map just gives locations, from what I've been led to believe, and that's not terribly help...ful..." He frowned, thinking. "Unless you want to plant the idea that there's a double agent in their midsts, though that could get a little chancy, seems to me..." Geoffrey honestly had no idea if the Order actually did have an insider (he knew that he was one of the last people who would be hearing anything if they did, after all), but planting the idea of one might not be that great an idea if they did. It had the potential to put someone in a very risky position. Damn it. Maybe he could get something off of Corina while he was in town...

Cal focused his attention to the center of the room, specifically, a spot in the carpet. He listened as everyone spoke, considering what they said. He didn't particularly disagree with any point but, then again, it seemed that everyone was serious about wanting action. The only disagreement was how much action everyone wanted to take. (Even Nigel seemed a more zealous than normal.)
Honestly, he didn't know what to think. He agreed with so many points... it just felt wrong to act like those he was trying to fight against. On that same note, those actions were what kept them on top.
He didn't want to kill but when it came down to it, he'd do anything to protect those that he loved.
"I'll go with whatever is decided," he announced. "As stated, I don't want to kill but if it's viewed as they only course of action, I'll do as ordered."
It was as simple as that, wasn't it? He was going to do whatever they wanted him to... other than that, his random additions to the conversation were rather pointless.

He... was late. Fantastic. Nothing quite as nice as being late to a meeting, was there? He had reason to be, of course -- he was busy following orders that had been given to him and they'd taken a bit longer to follow through than he had expected. Better late than never though, right? He sighed a bit, rolling his neck to get a few of the kinks out. Hopefully, he hadn't missed too much...
As he entered the Leaky Cauldron, the temptation to buy something strong to drink washed over him, but he managed to put that urge off until later.
Orlando groaned a little internally as he slipped inside the room, head ducked as he entered as quietly as he could. Frowning a little, Orlando slipped into a seat, trying not to draw much attention to himself as he quietly listened in.

Mac frowned at the conversation around him. Times were desperate, but he was adamant. He wouldn't become a killer. It was one thing to kill in self-defense, but he wouldn't become a murderer. He knew there was some other way here, to beat them, without becoming them.
"We've got to weaken them by planting doubt from within their ranks," he said, thinking aloud more than contributing to the discussion at this point. "They're a suspicious lot by nature, anyway, so it shouldn't be difficult."
With any luck, doing that would lead to them eliminating each other, doing their dirty work for them.
"Make them suspect each other. Make them think they're all about to double-cross one another. Give them enough reason to be suspicious of their comrades and they're destroy themselves."
It sounded good. It would require a bit of subtlety and manipulation, but if they could pull it off, it just might do some good.

It was uncomfortable listening to people talk about how they should be taking the offensive but he knew that it was time. He nodded as the younger members spoke and had to agree with the idea of discrediting them. He agreed even more with the Old Man about how notoriously self serving the death eaters tended to be.
"We can kill two birds with one stone. If we can..somehow cast doubt in the eyes of their peers while also discrediting them to the public..." It was mostly just Ed talking to himself and Lenore or Mac (those sitting closest to him).
"We need the death eaters out of The Ministry. If we're to win; we have to take back the ministry."
