Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 14 2008, 04:21:38 UTC
Ashleigh was completely clueless when it came to how her best friend really felt about her. They'd known one another since their very first day at Hogwarts. They'd spent nights in the same bed and days curled together on the common room sofa. While she might have entertained the occasional romantic fancy when she first began noticing boys, she was certain he'd never done the same. If he had, surely, he would've made a move on her before now.
Her grin didn't falter as he gave her his heartbreaking story. "You poor ickle baby," she crooned softly. "I just don't know how you've survived. You have a completely horrible best friend, love." On a whim, she kissed the tip of his nose. "I shall spend the next several days nursing you back to health."
She wasn't an idiot. She knew better than anyone that Ollie was exaggerating and it was fun to play along. It reminded her of when they were children.
"What are your plans for this evening?" she questioned excitedly. "Maybe I can start as soon as possible."
While she was certain her husband would be less than pleased if he happened along and found her wrapped around Ollie in such a manner, she didn't pull away from him. Why walk or stand when you could just ride an Ollie?
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 14 2008, 04:43:11 UTC
"Oh, I do. I really do," he agreed, playing along, even if it couldn't be further from the truth. He feigned a good pout, trying to look as pathetic as possible, but it didn't last long, because he couldn't resist breaking into a wide grin.
"My plans... are to tickle you until your sides ache," he teased, reaching for her ribs to demonstrate while keeping a firm hold on her with his other arm.
That sounded like a GREAT way to spend the time, as far as he was concerned. Who cared if her husband wouldn't approve of their current positions? Ash was his best friend and if he wanted to hold her - or tickle her until she had tears in her eyes - that's exactly what he was going to do.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 14 2008, 17:11:37 UTC
Ashleigh might have been hurt by his eagerness to agree that she was a horrid best friend but she knew that they were only teasing one another and her smile was still firmly in its place.
"Your plans..." she repeated, anxiously awaiting his answer. Of course, when he did finish his sentence, she began squirming, trying to get away from him. She was far too slow, though. He was much larger than her and easily held her in place as his fingers began dancing along her ribs.
"NOT FAIR, OLLIE!" she gasped between fits of laughter. "YOU CHEAT! YOU CHEAT!!"
She couldn't think much about getting him back at this particular moment but he was definitely going to pay for this. He was ticklish, if you knew where to tickle him. Not as ticklish as her, of course, but he definitely wasn't walking away from this scot-free.
"You're... I'm going to get you for this..." she continued to gasp as she tried her best to push away from him and hold onto him so that he wouldn't drop her.
Had she mentioned that her best friend was a dirty rotten cheat in need of punishment?
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 14 2008, 17:18:32 UTC
Ollie hadn't quite figured out how this was going to torture him, all the wiggling and squirming she was doing and he had to fight to now show how the sudden friction was affecting him. Especially since he wasn't about to stop tickling her anytime soon.
"AM NOT! AM NOT!" he retorted, his fingers continuing to dance over her ribs as he laughed right along with her. He laughed again at her threats. "You can TRY!" he smirked at her, continuing to torture her.
And torture himself, of course. Why did it have to feel so damn good, having her wiggling against him like this?
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 14 2008, 22:58:28 UTC
Ashleigh squirmed and wiggled as she jumped around, trying to pull away from his tickling fingers. She was nearly crumpled over into a fit of giggles and her face was all but buried in the side of his neck but that didn't stop the constant stream of threats flowing from her mouth.
"I'm... I'm gonna... I'm gonna... I'm gonna hit you so hard for this," she gasped. "You're gonna... you're gonna cry like a baby when I'm ... when I'm finished with you."
She was completely oblivious of any reaction he might be having... other than the obvious, of course. They might have joked with one another often but she didn't think that she had that sort of effect on him. Not even when her legs were wrapped around his waist and she was wiggling like mad.
In a last ditch effort to free herself of this torment, she took one of her own hands and began to let her fingers dance over his ribs. Maybe it was time for a little retaliation.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 14 2008, 23:11:13 UTC
Ollie wasn't concerned about her threats. The idea that she could actually hit him hard enough to make him cry was pretty laughable and he chortled with laughter as he kept up the tickle-torture, his fingers dancing over her sides as they had been. He smirked at her reactions and her threats. That was what made this so much fun.
"Hahaha! Nice try!" he taunted when he fingers failed to find a really ticklish spot right away. Okay, so maybe it tickled a little, but he wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of knowing that.
His own hands worked with more purpose. The more he tickled her, the harder it should be for her to really retaliate.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 15 2008, 04:48:38 UTC
If Ashleigh had been capable of thought, she would've been quite annoyed with just how unaffected he was by her threats. She was... completely terrifying! She was... a force to be reckoned with! She was very tired of no one taking her threats seriously.
She practically collapsed against him when her own fingers seemed to go unnoticed over his side. "So... not fair!" she groaned as she continued wiggling this way and that.
"Stop, Ollie!" she commanded between gales of laughter. "I'm gonna... I can't breathe... I'm gonna pee!" When those half truths seemed to have no effect on her best friend, she sent her own fingers back to work, hoping that she would find a sensitive enough spot to pull a reaction from him.
"I'm gonna... Ollie! I'll bite you!" she threatened, pressing her teeth against his shoulder to prove her point.
What she wouldn't give to be as strong as he and Ed were. They'd never have her begging for mercy again!
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 15 2008, 05:10:10 UTC
"You're going to... BITE me?" Ollie snorted at her continued threats, a devious smirk on his lips when she added that one. "Is that supposed to discourage me?" Seriously, he definitely wasn't going to complain if she did try that. Why would he? He was pretty sure it would be an enjoyable thing.
He raised an eyebrow at her when she pressed her teeth against his shoulder. Oh, yeah. He definitely wouldn't be stopping for that that. In fact, he let out an exaggerated moan, as if to encourage her.
"Oh, baby, you know I love it when you're rough with me," he purred, his fingers slowing a little, but still not stopping.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 16 2008, 03:47:48 UTC
"Yes!" Ashleigh tone was completely serious. Well, as serious as it could be when her words were forced out between giggles. "If you don't stop, I'm going to bite you!" He might not have believed it but she meant business. She would bite him... and she would bite him hard too.
Of course, she wasn't thinking about the fact that he could actually get pleasure from being bitten. Maybe it sounded horribly vanilla but she and Ed weren't usually rough with one another. Well, they didn't bite. They nipped and nibbled but they most certainly didn't bite one another in the way she was threatening to bite Ollie.
Which meant, of course, that when Ollie actually moaned a bright, crimson blush flooded over her cheeks, neck, and ears.
"I'm... I'm gonna be rough with you!" she retorted, unable to come up with a better comeback.
As punishment for her behavior, she dipped her head back to his shoulder and she did bite him. She wasn't trying to take a chunk of flesh out of his body, mind you, but she did bite him hard enough to leave a mark.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 16 2008, 04:06:25 UTC
"Good! I like it rough!" Ollie let out a deep laugh as she continued trying to threaten him with things that were hardly a bad thing in his mind. Really, was that the worst she could do?
"Ohhhhh, Ashleigh... harder!" His groan was only partly feigned when she did bit down on his shoulder. Oh, sure, it hurt, but Ollie had always had a thing for pain and this was no exception. It really was a shame that she was only playing around.
He smirked, anyway, letting his fingers dance across her ribs again before nipping playfully at her neck. All in good fun, right? It was a convenient excuse, anyway.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 18 2008, 05:09:45 UTC
Ashleigh was really frelling tired of being underestimated. She was to be feared! Her threats were to be taken seriously! She was a... savage beast of a Gryffindor! She was a Lion!!
"You're completely and utterly impossible!" she groaned in half annoyance when he practically moaned for her to bite him harder. However, she did as he asked and bit him again, this time a tad bit harder.
She was crumpled over as his fingers continued moving along her ribs and she was laughing loudly until his teeth nipped at her skin. "Oi!" she exclaimed, as she tilted her head to the side in an effort to cut off all accessibility. "You're... I'm going to get you for that!"
Her own fingers moved with more purpose over his ribs and she nipped at his shoulder again.
Yeah... they'd very obviously missed one another. Usually, they weren't nearly as insane... especially in the middle of the sidewalk.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 18 2008, 13:14:15 UTC
"Hey, no fair!" He pouted when she moved her head. He wasn't allowed to bite her? Okay, nevermind that pesky little detail of her being married. It was easy to block that out when they were being like this.
The groan he let out when she nipped as his shoulder again was almost involuntary. Did she have any idea what that actually did to him? Seriously.
And then her hands found the spot. One of the few places where he was actually ticklish. Ollie let out his own (manly, of course) giggle and started to lose his balance as her fingers danced over that spot. "Oi!" he cried, struggled to keep holding her up, though he stumbled and before her knew it, he'd fallen back on his bum, still holding her against him.
"Ow.. my arse hurts," he whined as he pouted at her. "And it's all your fault. You gonna kiss it better?"
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 19 2008, 04:24:06 UTC
"Is so!" she countered.
Ollie most definitely was not allowed to bite her. While she wasn't as strongly affected by being bitten and she didn't really understand just how much he enjoyed having her teeth pressed into his flesh, she definitely couldn't deny having a reaction to it. Goose bumps crawled over her skin and a shiver ran down her spine. She and Ed didn't usually bite one another but it felt really good and she found herself thinking that, maybe, she would be pushing for a little teeth play after she got home.
Ashleigh's fingers danced diligently over his sides and she grinned triumphantly when he actually began to giggle. "How do you like that?" she questioned him cockily. Of course, her smile faded slightly when it became obvious that he was loosing his balance. She tried her best steady them by grabbing onto something but before she'd managed it, he'd tumbled backwards and landed hard on his rear end.
Unable to control herself, she laughed loudly once they were settled on the ground. That hadn't hurt nearly as much as she'd expected it to... but, she'd had the great fortune of being on top of the crash.
"Awww... you poor ickle baby," she instantly consoled. "I'll rub your bottom and kiss it all better."
As soon as the words left her mouth, she giggled and pulled him into a tight hug. "I know I've already said it," she murmured seriously, "but I missed you."
This was why she missed him, too. She and Ed would play on occasion but Ollie was one of the only people she could be completely and utterly silly with.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesollieollieoxJuly 19 2008, 19:30:48 UTC
"Is not!" he argued, as though they were both five.
It was a good thing that he didn't know how Ashleigh was affected by him biting her, because he might have tried harder to keep it up if he'd known. Unfortunately, he didn't have time to think about it, anyway, once her hands found their mark.
He was laughing, too, once he got over the shock of the pain in his bum after the fall. "Promise?" he asked when she offered to rub and kiss it better. He waggled his eyebrows at her, treating it like a joke, though he definitely would not be complaining if she followed through on her offer.
"I missed you, too, Ash," he expression and tone turning serious as he returned the hug she'd pulled him into, squeezing her just as tightly.
Re: Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch suppliesashleigh_bartonJuly 20 2008, 02:29:06 UTC
Ashleigh and Ollie were perpetually five years old. They bickered back and forth and fought with one another. They had tickle wars and were not above building forts with bed sheets. For Merlin's sake, they bit one another... wasn't that enough of an explanation?
"Promise," she agreed with a laugh. She was treating it as a joke because they were joking. She would no sooner rub and kiss his bottom then he would let her do those things. At least, that's how she saw it.
After lingering in his embrace for a moment, she kissed his cheek and pulled back to grin at him. "What's next?" she questioned. "Butterbeer? Cookies? Let's do something... we have to. We've time to make up for."
It was a logical assessment, wasn't it? They'd been separated for days and, now, they had to get into some trouble.
Her grin didn't falter as he gave her his heartbreaking story. "You poor ickle baby," she crooned softly. "I just don't know how you've survived. You have a completely horrible best friend, love."
