Snowpiercer
Saw Snowpiercer today. I cannot figure out why this film is so highly rated. It had plot weaknesses from beginning to end (pun intended). The messianic overtones went nowhere and symbolized nothing, we've seen this type of society a thousand times with better explanations, and the climax felt like an unsuccessful attempt to follow The Matrix. The middle parts did manage to capture the feeling of a Terry Gilliam film in places.
