I Just Realized Something

 I was in the car today and out of the blue, without having had related thoughts right beforehand, I had an epiphany. I don't have to feel bad about being bullied or worry about what I might have said or done differently, because it was the school that failed to protect me. I don't know why it never occurred to me before.

I think hearing people on Unfunnybusiness talk about having been bullied made me more aware that it's an institutional problem.
