My laptop has been ordered. It's a Dell Inspiron 1501, although not the basic set-up. It's got a turion 64 X2 Dual-Core processor, and we upgraded the memory to an entire gigabyte (rather than the 512 MB it came with originally). 80 GB hard drive, wireless internet, 15.4 inch screen, a year of basic warrenty, hefty battery life, a basic video card (256 MB), pretty good reviews. Good for college kids, speedy with that gigabyte of memory and the dual-core, and capable of running hefty games like Guild Wars. I might end up upgrading the video card after I save up a bit of money, but that's something I can put off for a while.
Should arrive first week of December. It'll be my only Christmas present, but I don't mind. Awesome.
