He scooooooooooooores! Hockey's back...mostly.
As you may know, the NHL hockey season is back for 2005-06. Personally, I love the New Jersey Devils, since that is where I was born and raised for almost five years. Big deal, right? Well, scratch that if you wish. I love the Devils. Television coverage will be mostly limited to the Outdoor Life Network (lame) and a (very) small handful of games on NBC. Of course the Fox Sports regional channels will be showing the respective teams in their areas. In our case, 76 of the 84 Columbus Blue Jackets games will be shown on Fox Sports Ohio. They only play the Devils ONCE--Sunday, December 11th at 5pm. Would it be so wrong of me to wear my Devils jersey to the game, or would I just be asking to get my ass kicked? Haha. I have never attended an NHL game, and I would most certainly have to see the Devils for that first game. Anyone's welcome to come, of course, and I'll probably pester a few people to go with me...since it's six days prior to my birthday. :-) So, what do you think about the beatdown/non-beatdown situation, and would you want to go?
Oh, and in terms of baseball, I predict the White Sox and Astros? Is that so wrong?! Hah, come on now.
