Writing

Writer's block has broken a bit. I've been churning out a few new poems, some decent, most needing a lot of work. But it's better than the nothing from before.

I've also started working on my fantasy novel again, the one about Crita. I still need to figure out where the hell I'm going with it, but oh, the improv certainly helps. I know about where I need to end up, or at least should end up if I don't want to make this a running series on the same character, and I really don't. This should be the entry into Crita and the surrounding universe so this way I can play and bring to light all the crap I took the time to make up as a five (and thirteen) year old.

In the spirit of making me write more, I've begun submitting older pieces to literary journals, such as the short story, "Questionable Breeding" to Pleiades. I'm really nervous, and hoped I spelled and grammared everything right. Too late to turn back, but you know...

This update is brought to you by my nerves about publishing.
