Holidays/"Habits"

I'm so glad that it's the holidays already and I sort of get to relax. It doesn't really seem like I'm relaxing considering there was so much to get done right after exams PLUS all the studying... and yeah... it just feels like a long roller coaster ride. It'll be over soon, I think.

So hopefully I'll be able to spend more time with the girls and family this holiday season rather than working my ass off each and every single day. It sucks that there's very limited days off too... and whenever I see I have a day off, and I plan something, someone always asks to switch and it ends up looking bad on my part because I can't switch because I already made plans. I don't understand how people HAVE to go somewhere but don't book it off ahead of time to avoid all the hassle/drama later on. Bleh. I hate work.

But partying officially started yesterday when Mary, Joan and I went clubbing. We thought that the St. Mike's event was at Afterlife, and it turns out it wasn't... in fact Afterlife was closed. =S We headed over to Tonic... and it was alright. I hated the fact that I could feel each piece of broken beer bottles on my foot while I was on the dance floor. Nonetheless, I had fun. I didn't get too drunk either because I had to work the next day...

And tomorrow is my dad's second year. We'll be visiting him in the morning, and then mass at night... and then I'll be hanging out with the girls for Erica's birthday tomorrow.

1. Whenever I study or do assignments, I tend to snack/daze off whenever I have to really focus on tough concepts and such. So instead of sitting through it, I'd have all these "breaks" in between. Instead of finishing in 3 hours, I'd finish in 6.

2. Whenever I'm stressed, I take it out on shopping which is why I'm going broke.

3. At work, I usually check things a few times to make sure that it's okay. Sometimes it seems like I'm OCDing... more on the compulsive side. Sometimes it's good because I DO forget to do things and I catch my own mistakes rather than someone else catching me.

4. Every Thursday mornings, if I woke up early enough, I'd always head over to Tim Hortons to grab breakfast and then eat it in my Immunobiology class. This hasn't been happening often since I've been waking up late for class. =S

5. Before going to bed, I always have to wash my face after brushing my teeth. It just makes me feel much more refreshed and less icky... and I like to think that it makes me fall asleep faster because I feel less icky.

6. Since I love sleep so much, I have to set a few (yes, a few) alarm clocks at different times so that I'd wake up in time. It's usually two on my cell and another one on the digital clock. It's pretty sad sometimes because I still fail to wake up in time either because I hit snooze too often or I turn everything off and go back to bed.
