Weird Week
Iv'e been having such an odd week. I think it started Monday when I slept through my multiple alarms and consequently class. Then Tuesday we did a really intense exercise in Stage Combat class. We learned a little gun safety then our teacher read us a first hand account of marines collecting bodies during the Vietnam War. Then we all spread out on the floor and he got us into a completely relaxed state and then had us do guided visualization. I chose to be a soldier as opposed to Vietnamese so he had me visualize training and being shipped over seas. Then he played some Doors and continued the visualization. When we "came into the village" he started screaming at the soldiers to get up and he kicked my foot. We had to pull the Vietnamese off the floor and line them kneeling against the wall. We then had to put bags over their heads. Then one by one we took them out into the middle of the room and shot them with a gun loaded with blanks. It was terrifying and disturbing as all fuck. The point was to learn the proper way to "die". But was freaky. That coupled with crazy dreams has turned me into a zombie this week.
