i was talking to anothony at karate today and he told me that if i test early for every test i could start testing for my black belt in october. that kicks major ass cos other wise i'd be waiting till a year from may probably. i'm very excited. he said i was phenominal for a green belt, and when i asked him what belt he felt i was at he said candidate. he also pointed out that it sucks because the only thing standing between me and black belt testing is time. i also took chris's advice and asked about demo and he said that i could make demo no problem. right now theyre all training for tournaments. my problem right now with karate is that i bring too much ballet into it. it's funny tho, because he told me it would go away with time, but he also told me he has plans for me for demo. he wants me to do my own routine that varies back and fourth from ballet to karate to ballet to karate. he said he's seen it done befor and it's awesome. i was in shock. it's a huge deal to have your own demo form, and the fact he's already thought about it. i am beyond flattered. it made me so freaking happy. hehe. sweet.
