my phone is retarded. when you plug it in and press the power button, the screen lights up and it says "charging... phone is off." If you press the power button again, it turns off. pressing the power button a THIRD time turns the phone on so you can actually use it. with all its power up and down sequences, it takes about 20-30 seconds.
