(no subject)
So, some updates:
most recently, i'm going to be seeing rilo kiley at the calvin in june! i'm SO excited. sage is coming along too. seriously, i love rilo kiley and it's going to be the perfect opener for summer. and this time, i'm going to hold onto my phone for dear life.
also, in addition to, as well, i mentioned my car in my last entry, and if all goes according to plan i should be able to drive it by tuesday, so we'll see where that takes me. i need to find a summer job. but before that, i need to take SATs, look at colleges, the works. i'm getting rather stressed about everything and i guess i tend to avoid it, which is completely the wrong way to approach the situation, but whatever, things will fall into place where they may.
i've been working pretty hard on my competition writing piece. i'm trying to make it as, fierce, as possible. i think it may be turning out well, it's supposed to be a bit over the top,a bit gaudy, if you will. it makes a statement. i'm an imagery monster! winning would be nice though, a recommendation for college by the national english teachers association would be marvelous.
you know, it came to me suddenly, but i think i'm coming to peace with things, finally. i think the regret is gone, and the only thing that's left is a great warmth that is fine as a memory for now. and who knows, maybe it's just a sign that a door is opening somewhere.
