[It takes Duo a while to start combing the journals to try to find his lost housemate. Sure he'll disappear sometimes, but he's usually back around dinner. So where the hell did he go? As soon as he sees the journal post, he's racing to the Welcome Center, recognizing the place from the time he's spent there with Sasarai. He'll be storming into the Center to retrieve his friend.]

[By the time Duo arrives, Longshot will have already been 'dismissed'. Instead John is on the scene, casting a beam from his ring as he switches light frequencies to pick up any traces of evidence.]

[Duo stops in the doorway and strokes his shirt to palm a knife. He turns just a little to keep the blade out of sight. He's pretty sure this guy isn't to blame for Sheik's death (What idiot would stand around with a glowing ring when you just killed a guy?) but better to be safe than sorry.] What the hell do ya think you're doin' ta Sheik?
