pizza. parties

I like parties. So it's good when there are parties and I go to them. Had yummy cake at Brian's birthday party Friday, played "I never.." at Ryan's "mungefest" Saturday, and made many pizzas at Curt's birthday party Friday. Curt's friends are fun.. they like to experiment with food, they're smart, and they like to play games. We made 4 pizzas: pepperoni and bell peppers (I don't eat pepperoni so I dunno how it was), the Mexican pizza (tomatillo, cilantro, garlic and citrus juice, I believe, made up the sauce, and it was topped with tomatoes, peppers, onion, fresh cilantro, and little pieces of crushed tortilla chips, and it was soooooo yummy), the Indian pizza (Sid and Supriya made a ceci curry dish with onions that was awesome on its own, then put it on a pizza and added mushrooms, onions, and prolly some other stuff, and it was also extremely good), and one more with artichokes, broccoli, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes (also good, but not really unusual). We didn't think the pineapples we wanted to use went with any of the themes, so Dave made pina coladas, which were yummy. Rob cut the artichokes and I couldn't stand to see the leaves go to waste so I made a butter, lime, garlic, and onion sauce to dip them in, which everyone loved =).

Mathilde made a chocolate pie, which went perfectly with whipped cream and I ate way too much of it. We forgot about the wine I'd brought while eating so we had it after dinner.. it wasn't very good. We played Cranium also - my team kicked butt, and we kept getting the hard color too. It was fun =). Then most of the people left and a few stayed and watched K-PAX, which was way better than I expected. It seems so easy recently to make me feel like I need to let the people I care about know more than I do.

Anyway, parties are fun. Food is good. Yesterday was good and today has been.. lonely-making. Details later; I'm late for class.

party, games, dessert, food, loneliness
