it's been a while, a very long while! summer is here again [as i'm sure it will be gone tomorrow], and it is amazing. i'm currently working for my dad at McLaren Engineering, getting ready for college [i leave august 25th], spending time with my friends and family, and every possible moment with my amazing boyfriend, Dan.
it's so weird to think that a significant chapter of my life has just finished, and a brand new one is about to begin. the transition from highschool to college is more than just a change in schools, it is the beginning of the transformation into adulthood. it's kind of scary to think about. on august 25th i will pack up my life that has been basically the same for the past 18 years, move into a new place, meet new people, practice new ideas, and learn new things. This entire transition is bittersweet. How can i be unhappy? I can't! Lehigh has always been my dream school and i worked hard to be admitted. I am sure that the next four years of my life will be some of the most wonderful. however, at the same time, i am very sad to leave all of my close friends, my dogs [lol i kno it's rediculous but i love them], my extended family, and dan. dan and i have decided to stay together, and i know it's for the best. i know that me leaving for college is not a goodbye, it's merely a "see you later." i'm so excited for college, and i am so excited to continue my realtionships with my friends and with my amazing boyfriend.
