So random post time! After a rough week, the weekend has turned out to be pretty good. Last night we had a girls' night out with the group. Good times. :) We went out to eat (yay for mac&cheese and breadsticks!), where Andi proceeded to eat every potato product know to man. We did learn something though: if you cover the lemon that comes in your water in sugar, it's pretty darn tasty. :) And it keeps you from chewing on the napkins out of hunger. Before we got to eat, we went to Borders to pass the time (a 40 minute wait! bah!) which was cool bc we just read magazines the whole time. There was an article in one about Taking Back Sunday so I was happy for a while. [I've been really into them this week. "This Photograph is Proof" is awesome, and not just bc it has almost the exact same title as an awesome piece we looked at in art appreciation around the same time I heard the song :)] But anyways, dinner was fun even though we were split into two tables bc it was me, Andi, Jennifer and Amy. Then we went out to Barnes and Noble for cheesecake, but no one was hungry so we went to the union to bowl, but the wait was seriously two hours. Can you use 'but' twice in one sentence? Is that allowed? :) Anyways, we drove out to this other bowling alley and I proceeded to play the best game of my entire life! I got 131, beating everyone but Jenny (who got 132), which is frickin awesome since I don't actually do the whole "bowling form" thing; I kinda just go up to the lane, stop, and throw the ball at the pins. :) But yay! Then we came back and Andi and I ended up talking for like two hours which was also good. :) Then today I got off my lazy bum and went to the corec and ran two miles in twenty minutes (!) to work off all the crap I've been eating lately. I was impressed, even if no one else is. :) Had lunch with Carol and Sara and my old roomate's friend. Weird. Came back and talked to Nicole and Meredith, which was awesome since I hadn't talked to Nicole in a while and Meredith in forever. Now all I need to do is call a couple more people and I'll be happy. :) I worked on hw for a bit, but it was so nice out, so Andi and I walked down to Borders to get the magazines we wanted last night (thumbs up to getting a cd with a magazine!). It was good times. :) Funny story: foxy man from work was chastised for having a beard and not wearing a beardguard. So maybe he'll shave! Or maybe he'll have to wear one and then I won't have to think he's so darn gorgeous anymore. Back to the story. :) We stopped by Starbucks on the way home too. mmmmmmm...anyways. So yeah I got a workout today. Fast forward through dinner and more hw. I got to see the first part of "Ever After" for the first time tonight. Then we went over to Hillenbrand to play 90s Trivial Pursuit with Carol and Sara. Good times. :) There are two rules that we added that seemed to make it more exciting: 1.if you get your question right on any square (not just the pie piece ones), you get a pie piece! yay! 2.if you miss your question, then you get a backup question from the same card of a color you don't have. Maybe there were three new rules. 3.if you miss your backup question, you can get another one for another color you don't have! :) I totally got three pieces legally though. :) Go me! I kept getting everyone else's questions right, but not mine. Meh. It's a good game anyways. Then when we got back, Carolann sent us pictures of when Stephany and Janine dressed her up last night. I should post them for all the world to see! Carol in hooker boots? That's something everyone in the world should see! :-D Just funnin', Carol. Oh another random thing from tonight: I randomly opened the magazine I got today (AP-Alternative Press, for those of you playing along at home) and saw Emmanuel on a page. I was like, "that band sounds familiar." And I realized it's those guys from high school! I thought that was funny. Except they said they sound like Senses Fail which they don't bc Senses Fail is a good band. What? Huh? I mean, Emmanuel is awesome. Sure. Go hometown people. Anyways, I think I'm gonna go do some crunches before bed. Work on my gut a bit, ya know? Does anyone know any chin exercises? :) Well goodnight all.
