a huge mess and more
well, gilles and jana were in a terrible car accident. someone fleeing the police hit their car causing it to slide across the road and hit a tree and then somehow they ended upside down. gilles has a broken pelvis and will be in a wheelchair for an undetermined amount of time. he's still in the hospital now. jana (who was starting to feel better) is in more pain than ever. so, fun times had by all.
i'm still going home. i thought i might stay but jana's parents are here from germany and gilles' parents are here so i'm going. because god only knows when i can get away again. because when i get back its all on me. i think its going to be 10-12 hour days with little to no days off. there will be no one who can lift the babies but me. i'm dreading it. but i guess its better than having a broken bone(s). so if you're in the new orleans area, stop by sara's nursery and rehabilitation home.
i am SO looking forward to this weekend. i'm going to savor it all the more since i almost didn't go and i'm going to be a slave upon my return. rachel and i have a fest of movies and eating planned. we're hoping to see at least 3 movies in the theatre and eat at several restaurants. this should be interesting since rachel will only be there saturday and sunday. orlando, watch out!!!!!!
