Sorry it's been so long. I said I'd keep you up to date and I've fallen down on that. Hope you'll forgive your big brother.
Did you know that bastard, Mustang, sent Winry here, too? If I find out you did know and didn't tell me, I swear I'll beat you up. Sure, this place may seem all innocent but three people have disappeared. We think they were kidnapped but we don't have any clues to go on. I'd keep looking but there just isn't anything there. I'm just glad Winry wasn't one of the kids who vanished. I'd hate telling Granny that I lost Winry. That old woman would probably strip my arm and leg right off.
There are a couple of kids here, Haru and Kyo, who are kind of weird. They change into animals. No, really! I'm not shitting you. They do. Haru changes into a cow and Kyo a cat. Yeah, I knew you'd like to hear about the cat. Haru's kind of weird but okay. He's got a temper but it only comes out once in a while. He's down more often than not. And Kyo wants to get into fights all the time. Makes me tired just being around him. They're wanting me to try to find a way to break this, for lack of a better word, 'spell' that they're under. I'll tell you more about it later, we' re supposed to be going out later, some sort of celebration in what passes for a town here. (You wouldn't believe the book store. It's huge but its selection of alchemy books sucks.) I'll try to write more and let you know what happens there.
