...it's been a little while. I hope no one's been worrying! It's ... pleasant out here, to say the least. I've never really been very far outside the village, but it's really beautiful.

Al, I hope you're doing okay. I'm really sorry I ... kind of left without warning, but I think that it was for the best. Is Raine taking care of you?
I'm not being useless out here; I've been studying the layout of the land, and I'll have a few proposals upon my triumphant return. I would like to think that this brief hiatus will mean a marked improvement on my efficiency rating, at the very least.

It seems that there are certainly quite a lot of new people recently; I haven't had the opportunity to meet any of you, yet. It seems many of you are familiar with others here already? Like the vampire influx ... I wonder what they're up to, now.
The population of Luceti has really swelled in recent months; more than we can really keep track of, I think. That said, perhaps introductions are in order. Feel free to respond with as much or as little information as you're comfortable handing out; I know several here value their privacy rather highly, but trying to get a relative headcount and list of skills would be helpful. Yes folks, that means I'm asking those of you who were already here to introduce yourselves as well.
As for myself? I'm Caesar Silverberg, of Gregminster, in the Toran Republic. I'm a (mostly) formally trained military strategist, like just about everyone else in my family that they recognize, though I seem to have developed a rather organizational role here. My skills mainly revolve around tactics and strategy, though I've got some experience in mediation and treaty-building and espionage. I'm also competent with minor first aid.
How about the rest of you?
I hope Aya doesn't get irritated that I filched his journal... I have a lot to catch up on!
[ooc: Yeah, I missed him too. XD So, uh ... Aya kidnapped him about a week ago and drug him out to the woods for some vacation time, but our boy is a workaholic, so ... we see how well this worked out, obviously. He is kind of trying to take a sort of unofficial census; your characters are obviously not in any way obligated to answer, but there's a reason for it (beyond sheer curiosity and record-keeping), I promise.]
