Hi Rod, I believe you are right. I support Obama but don't agree with all of his plans. I'll be purchasing a couple more firearms before Jan. 20. It makes no sense to take my firearms which I use for target practice and one I have for self defense. Take my firearms, take those of other honest law abiding people and only the police, criminal element and city street thugs will have guns. Criminals always know how and where to obtain them. I don't know. I'm also curious how they would take our weapons.
I listened to Obama and what his priorities were during the final weeks of the campaign and immediately after election. Since meeting with Bush, he has rearranged priorities ... the bottom line is we're in much deeper trouble than he ever thought.
I personally think we're heading for a full scale depression. Even Obama said it's going to get worse before it gets better and that it will be the end of 2009 before we see any change.
Printing more money isn't the answer. These bailouts aren't the answer. I have great hope in Obama making changes after what Bush has done to the US. But I fear we are past the point of turning the economy around.
