A thought...

It occurred to me yesterday that this year (September to be precise) is the tenth anniversary of the first Now Show.

And I thought...it's a bit short notice, granted, but surely some sort of Now Show mini-convention could be organised. Even if it's basically just an opportunity for loads of fans to meet up and socialise and get drunk. And possibly - depending on the logistics of it - invite one or two of the Now Show team, past and present, to be guests, although I'd ideally like to keep it fairly informal.

At the moment, it's just a vague idea. If it happens, it would be ideally as near as possible to the tenth anniversary (which IIRC is September 26th), probably somewhere in London (although outside London would be cheaper, I suspect). But the bottom line is - if it were to happen, how many people would be interested in attending? It'd be nice to get some idea of numbers at this stage...

(And if it were to happen, how many people would be happy to help me organise it? Bearing in mind that convention-organising isn't something I've got any experience of whatsoever, so it's going to be a very steep learning curve...)

David.
