Stuff and Things.

Today was good. I got up at 8:50 with little sleep from a late night drinking and playing magic and trucked on down to work with Garion. Mediocre day at the store with no real excellence all day long until the end of the day. Dungeons and Dragons is the best thing ever. That's my opinion. I love this game.

We got together: Shawn & Ally, Dad & Zak, Garion & Runebeard, and of course... Scott. Druid & Cleric, Bard & Ranger, Paladin & Cleric, and of course... the Barbarian. The party was assembled. After saturday, when they got into lots of trouble at a fortified keep and almost got killed by guards shooting them with arrows and locking them up in dungeons and chasing them through the streets. They escaped the keep of Montinelle and managed to escape to the fields miles beyond the keep. After what seemed like a week of debate on which path to take... through the forest, on the road, or what have you. They finally decided to go as the crow flies cutting through a corner of the forest and then heading to the Drake and Castle Inn to learn more about their missing Prince. However, there is always problems in D&D. Upon reaching the Lusian Forest they of course were attacked. In this case, by ZOMBIES. I rolled the easy encounter. They could have gotten spectres or wights which would have been terrifying! So they knocked those down no problem and continued to the road on the other side. I was pleased though, because the party could tell the forest was haunted and something evil was afoot and that plants the seed for a future adventure. I got to use my terrain made from aquarium plants here, so that made me super stoked. After this, they decided to leave the forest and run from the Undeadz. So they left and headed to the road when they were overtaken by thundering hooves. They guards from Montinelle attacked them and were swiftly maimed mostly by the Barbarian. It was Delightful.

anyhow... I am tired and really looking forward to my two days of getting stuff done. Journal entry ... CUT SHORT.
