I am so Lost...
When I said the series was soon to become my new obsession? I had no idea how true it was. le_mru? My eternal love and devotion. Firstborn child (now that is a Claire thought...)
I even created an icon to celebrate it, but as it's very, very spoiler-y for the episode 1x13 - I am at 1x15 right now - I will just welcome you to take a peek at it in my "user's icons".
First of all, Shoone - I mean, OMGtheirloveissocanon! I feel very fangirly about it, but yeah. They are just incredible. I have this, probably misguided, idea in my head that they are both so lost without one another. They are trying so very hard to prove how different they are and how they abhor one another's life choices, but really? Shannon wants to be saved, and Boone wants to be her saviour. I was joking about UST even before I knew how true it was... Yeah, that episode had me rewinding.
Secondly, Jack/Locke - this seems to me to be such a fun pairing. Jack is obviously gay (Kate? Who's Kate anyway?) and he and Locke have a connection. And even if it's all bullshit, it's still the most fun pairing I could think of. Besides, that scene with Locke saving Jack, them both on the ground panting? That was not subtext. That was obvious.
Last, not least, Sayid/Sawyer - now that is another fun ship. The torture bit? The fact that they just can't keep hands off each other? And "I kept your signal fire burning"?! I am so looking forward to being up-to-date and reading fanfiction.
