Dream #113
The first location is a park in the winter. There's a weird map that leads us to a city. The closer to the city we get, the more and more the snow melts. By the time we get there, it's nightfall. We get to the city. For some reason, there are reservoirs of a lava-like substance. It's more like a hot water over lava, because it doesn't burn to the touch, but if you go below a certain depth it will. Anywho, me and like a group of other folk (at least four or five of us, one or two are girls) are after a warlock clad in spined armor. Apparently if he gets his hands on a special scroll, he'll have control of the whole city. So pretty much it's us with the scroll finding a way to either use it or destroy it. In the end, I tell the rest of the party to wait somewhere while I run with the scroll. Eventually I figure out how to use it. The warlock and I end up on a skyscraper above the clouds where the sun is shining. It was never night, just the smog made it very dark. I do something with the scroll, the warlock vanishes, as does the smog. I found out on the way up to the skyscraper that there was a floating island in the sky. I thought it would be neat to check it out after this is over, but there was a different island I had to get to, so I could meet up with the rest of the party. By then I realize there's a megatsunami that's physically turning over the city. I nearly fall, but I held onto a rod on the building. The turn tosses me off with force and I try to position myself to land on the meeting island. Instead I end up on the sky island where I hold myself up in a storage container until the tsunamis clear. It's very pleasant on the island.
