Things that suck right now:

1. I am having a hard time pulling myself up, right now. Hi, depression, you had been under the table for a while, and now you are climbing back up my leg and trying to devour my soul again. Result being:
2. I am tired and listless all the time. It doesn't help that it is absolutely miserable outside, humid and tacky and sticky and hot. Ugh.
3. Nightmares. Keep waking up with them. Please stop, brain. Please.
4. I miss Jen's face and she is off in Utahland, where the air is sweet and lovely and full of springtime. JEN TAKE ME BACK, SOUTH CAROLINA IS THE PITS. Ahem.
5. The shit going down in the Gulf right now is so awful and stupid and tragic, it makes me want to bash my head against a wall. Fucking hell. I mean, we all knew shit like this would happen eventually, and now it's happening, and it's no surprise at all, with all the leeway we give those bastard companies. But fuck. It is one of the worst things I can imagine happening, and it is happening, it's happening right now.
6. I CANNOT MAKE THE FORMATTING OF THIS POST WORK. FUCK, I HATE LJ SOMETIMES.

That being said, there are also a number of things that are TOTALLY AWESOME going on, and I am clinging to them like a motherfucker.

1. James Ransome's twitter, wherein one can find gems such as this. My God, I love that man. Even when he tweets about the dead Gulf wildlife and makes my heart crunch with despair. He also makes tweets about how glad he is Alex wasn't in Twilight, and then realizes his other GK costar, Kellan Lutz is, in fact, in Twilight. Bahaha. His faaaace. I am so fond of it. All of those GK boys. I love them.
2. With the help of my awesome betas, brimtoast and shiningartifact, I am inching towards completing my monstrosity of a big bang! Which means I will be free to roam the internet again, unleashing myself upon we_pimpin  and also the world and all the fics I still owe. MUAHAHA.
3. I have a carton full of raspberries, and they are ALL MINE. ALL FOR ME.
4. White Collar is starting back up again! So soon! And then there will be new True Blood! WHOO, TELEVISION FILLED WITH PRETTY! And speaking of pretty...
5. This music video by Janelle Monáe. Gah. Unf. Man, every time I watch it, I am filled with hearts and stars and happiness. (PS: I need WAY more icons of her, and am having a hard time finding any. If anyone wants to hunt me down some or be astoundingly awesome and make me some, I will owe you babies, and possible also a drabble. *big eyes*)
6. I am rolling around in all the GK fic I missed while away/burying myself in writing, and zomg, I really need to get a recs list up, or actually start using my delicious account again. *splays out blissfully in piles of fic*
7. bookdeyada! Discussion post is up, and I am... not ready. But I am reading! Now! Right now!

*breathes*

See, life is good! I am going to settle down with my raspberries and read for a bit. Please feel free to comment with things that are totally awesome. The more awesome I can gather in this post, the merrier.
