This is for my darling, softlyforgotten: a very very belated birthday gift (I started it thinking it'd be possibly 5000 words. AHAHAHA.) Mik, it is possible that no one else in the world will find this the slightest bit appealing, but I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did writing it.

So, firstly I feel I should apologize for being such a lurker, because I've read this fic at LEAST a dozen times and this is the first time I've left any sort of comment on it, and I get so mad when people do that to my work, but I just had so many feelings that I couldn't manage to get them into any form of wordage.

So sorry, for that.

ANYWAY.

This, is one of the most amazing works I have ever read. In my entire life. But then again, you're one of the most amazing author's I know, so it's not surprising.

I could go into detail about what I love, but then we'd be here for the next twenty years and the internet would probably explode, and then where would we be?

Anywho. I wanted to thank you for piquing my curiosity for the world you dabbled in while writing this. I bought 'His Majesty's Dragon' today on my phone, and I've been devouring the chapters, mostly at work cause it was a slow day.

I love fantasy, I love dragons, I love historical fiction. How the hell have I not seen this series before now?

So yes, thank you for being amazing and gifting us all with this majestic work, and also for giving me a new series to fall in love with and rave about and pimp out to all my friends. You are a god among mortals.
