New Shows and Some Vid Recs (Buffy)
Okay, is anyone else checking out "Once a Upon a Time" and "Grimm"? I've watched both and, so far, they have my interest peaked. Grimm actually had a scene that made me jump. I nearly spilled my popcorn and my hubs totally laughed at me. Grimm has shades of Supernatural, but, also, not. "Once Upon a Time" doesn't really have much resemblance to SPN at all. It is more geared toward fairy tales and the lead character is a female (she's also Cameron from House).
Of course, its too early to tell how good either show will be with only their pilots down, but I think they both have a good starting place to keep me interested. Thank goodness. I was running out of shows! Smallville's gone, SPN and House can't be too far behind. It'll be my luck, though, that I'll really like the new shows and then they'll get pulled.
I'm also watching Ringer...but that's mostly just because I love Sarah Michelle Gellar. My Buffy love lives strong. Speaking of...any Buffy fans out there? Hmm? Well, if so, I found these little gems tonight. Enjoy!
As I watched the second one, I thought to myself that SPN could take a cue from Buffy on how to build lasting, dependable, warm relationships that don't leave viewers feeling aggravated at one of the leads all the time--I just get tired of the boys fighting, it sucks.
