1. Would you believe that you're the first person in many, many years to ask me that? Well. I was adopted. I don't know where I really came from, but my parents were a pair of rangers who lived in the capital of our kingdom. They were kind people. I was never put in harm's way when I was living with them. They died of old age about... seventy years ago. I do miss them terribly. They never had any children of their own.

2. I don't let myself think like that. I have had a distracting level of physical attraction toward someone, and have been very close friends with those same people, but never love. Love intrigues and amuses me at the same time...

3. Generally? Hot and wild. With several iterations in the same session. That's not to say that I don't appreciate slow and gentle, though.

4. It's an island. Separated into two kingdoms. We are, as I have now learned, what some would consider a medieval world. We don't have much in the way of technology. We walk everywhere, or ride horses.... Magic exists, but to all the hells with most magic, I say.

5. I tell you this only because I know that you're not affiliated with my world. The long and short is that I'm a mercenary, but there's more to it than that. I am, to put it bluntly, whatever I'm needed to be. You might call me an infiltrator. I get information. I find people and report on their whereabouts. I've even assassinated a few people.

As for why? It's good money, and it never gets boring.

1. I'm told I volunteered to have my memories wiped away. So I assume something terrible must have happened. I can't think of any other reason a fifteen year old girl would want that.
