Last night was so much fun. The New Atlantic/Monty Are I tour played the Axis and it was absolutely amazing. Here's some pictures.

1997 opened. They were really good. I hadn't really listened to them before this, but I was really impressed with their set. They were a lot of fun to watch too.

The Graduate was up next. They were incredible. Their set was really really fun. I was closer to the far left of the stage for ths one, so if all of the pictures are of the same person, that's why.

LOL BEST FACE Y/Y

After The Graduate, New Atlantic came on. Omg, so much fun. I ended up right in front of Gio for their whole set. They were crazy energetic and a ton of fun. There were these obnoxious girls behind me while they were setting up who kept being like "ZOMG THAT ONE [Gio] TOTEZ LOOKS LYKE MATT RUBANO. I WANT HIS BABIEZ RIGHT NOW. LIKE TONIGHT" "NO WAI YER CRAZY. THAT ONE [Jake] LOOKS MORE LIKE HIM. HEZ SUCH A HAWTIE" "NO WAIII. HAY MATT! MATT! ZOMG HES STARING AT US NOW. AND ZOMG MATT RUBANO HAS A NEW GEE EFF NAMED ELLE OR ELLIE OR SOMETHING. SHES SUCH A HO" "WELL SHES ONLY DATING HIM CAUSE LYKE SHE HAS LYKE NO FRIENDS. DUUUUH." But yeah. Their whole set was amazing, Gio came down onto the floor during Wire & Stone and was singing right in front of me so that was fun.
My camera died towards the end of their set :( Probably from being too camera happy earlier, but whatever. So that's why there's not as many pictures and stuff.

Jake got new drums

anddd here's where my camera dies.

While Monty Are I was setting up, Blair and I went to go find New Atlantic and talk to them for a little while. We found Gio at the merch table and talked to him for a few minutes. He said they'd probably be back in the fall, and that they're spending today in Boston.

Monty Are I was up next and they were SO good. They're from Providence, so there were a lot of people there just for them. They were so much fun to see live. The crowd was really into them, and their set was really good. I really want to see them again soon. We were kinda all over the floor for their set, but it was fun either way.

The Audition came on after that. We ended up back at the stage for their set, so that was good. They played a new song, and it sounded really good. They also said they'd be back in November/December with Bayside and omgg, I'm so excited. Bayside is my absolute favorite band and that's right around my birthday and ohhh my god. If they played a show on my birthday I think I'd die. I got a set list from the Audition, so their set went like this: Approach the Bench, Rep Your Clique, Ultimate Coverup, Lawyers, Smoke and Mirrors, Dance Halls Turn to Ghost Towns, It's too Late, the New Song, Don't Be So Hard, and You've Made Us Concious. They're so much fun live, omg.
