I saw in his eyes, he's never calming down

Last night I went to see Bayside, The Junior Varsity, Melee, Bombers, and Station Life at the Middle East. Blair and I got there around 4:30. Doors opened at 7. So we wandered Central Square for two and a half hours trying to avoid frostbite. I think I overheard someone saying it was 27 degrees or something? Mmm, yeah. We went to pretty much every food place there was and just loitered, despite the "no loitering" signs INSIDE of every place.

The bathroom at McDonald's had all of this graffiti inside of it. Including "FTW". So of course, I had to take a picture of it.

McDonalds...

Coffeeeeee. HiI'mGross.

We went to Payless. Blair fits in the kids shoes.

They make High School Musical sneakers. Who knew?

Oversized kids shoes.

Station Life was on first. They weren't bad, they were just a little boring. They played about five songs. It was kinda hard to tell what kind of sound they were going for, cause they started off playing quiet, almost acoustic songs, and then they'd go to something metal? Who knows.

Bombers came up next. I liked them a lot. The crowd was starting to fill in a little more, so there were more than 20 people there.

Melee was next. Okay, I'm in love with this band now. They were SO good. They were really energetic, and they were just really good.

The pictures are kind of blurry at first, I'm still trying to figure out this camera, so that's why a lot of them aren't so great.

The Junior Varsity was up next. I like the Junior Varsity, but for some reason, they decided to make their set about eight times louder than everyone elses. Okay, I know that some bands play really loud to make up for the fact that they suck, but these guys didn't suck, they were just REALLY loud. I didn't take as many pictures of them

Bayside was up next. They were SO good. They put up all these "Holiday" decorations before they came on-a light-up snowman, tinsel on the microphones, christmas lights, wreaths, etc. The set was amazing. I'm so excited for the new cd to come out. I really hope they tour with Punchline again sometime soon.

Here's a video of Blame it On Bad Luck. It's kind of dark, but it gets clearer after a few seconds.

Set List:

Oh, and when we were driving home, there was a minivan in front of us, and it had a Paramore sticker on it. So of course, I took a picture.

I wish I lived in Springfield right now. Free TREOS show tonight? ugh. It would be nice if I wasn't sick too. I'm supposed to go see The Hush Sound and This Providence tomorrow, but I stayed home sick again today, and I still feel like shit, so my mom probably won't let me go :(
