- Finish reading chapter 1 of Biological Psychology textbook. ( 20 / 20 done. )
- Study for lesson 9 vocabulary quiz on Tuesday.
- Start reading William Kelly's article. ( 9 / 9 done. ) One of the most complicated readings ever. Didn't know what the heck he was trying to say.
- Pick up eyeglasses this week.
- Complete CITI certification for lab by 9/22.
- Design "Jane" - the pair of Jane Austen inspired earrings.
- Buy jewelry materials.
- Buy Aquarium tickets.
- Watch Hot Shot, Invincible Shanbao Mei, Miss No Good, and Love Beyond Frontier. (Haha, I'm color-coding the dramas!)
- Mail Patty's birthday card.
- Give Raquel her engagement card.
- Download some media files to my iPod.
- Print out slides for Monday's class.
I've been yawning for the past fifteen minutes or so. I even skimmed through chapter 1 of my textbook because my sight was getting blurry. But I did catch some of the important concepts and even if I don't remember what they are, I can always look at the lecture slides. xD
I went out to dimsum with my grandma, my uncle's family and my sister. My cousin and I talked a lot about school, jobs and about her boyfriend. Her major is communications so she's trying to get a job on campus doing PR work. I can imagine her being this top PR agent at a top-notch agency in the future. Hehe, I love to explore different career options, especially ones that entail lots of opportunities to meet new people. But I'm not changing my major or anything - I'm going to stick to being a psychologist because I think a lot of kids out there need to be cared for. But hey, I can dream, right?
i rewatched Becoming Jane yesterday. It's such a beautiful and sad movie! I was inspired by the jewelry and costumes that Anne Hathaway wore and came up with a design for a pair of earrings. I'll name the earrings Jane. I'll make a pair first and see how I like it and what kind of feedback I get from my best friend/business partner. If everything goes well, Jane will probably be my first product for our online jewelry shop. Anyone like jewelry that are sold for under $10USD? Most of our jewelry will be sold for under $10USD and a few ones will be more expensive due to the materials, but usually not over $50, I hope. We should be working on this project real soon!
