The good folks over at the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society are at it again. These are the same people who produced a silent 1920's version of Call of Cthulhu a few years ago. They're totally self funded with no Hollywood suits in site.
They are almost finished with their next film "The Whisperer in the Darkness" which is based on HPL's story about alien weirdness in the New England back country. Keeping with their period theme, this is shot in black and white as a period 30s or 40s film. According to their blog its in final editing and will be hitting the film festival circuit next year.
