(no subject)
So it's been an eventful couple of weeks.
We ordered a plane ticket for Justin's mom to come down from New Jersey and visit.
We have this whole day planned out where we are going to take her to the aquarium + more.
My boss is the sweetest old man ever and gave me some days off of work so I can visit more.
We got our bedroom furniture and new mattresses in. Best looking thing you'll ever see.
I came home from work to Justin acting pretty darn weird.
He was totally hiding something from me and it turned out to be an engagement ring!!!
I cried my little eyes out. It's the prettiest ring ever.
I know my parents are happy about it, but they've always had a weird way of showing their feelings. So when they're not hugging all over me and saying how happy they are, I take that as...some type of negativity towards the situation. I know if I just talked to them they would have it all cleared up and explain that they indeed are really happy for us. I just wish they'd show it more. I feel like everyone at work reacted the way they should have. Jumping up and down, screaming with so much excitement.
We've started doing a little bit of planning.
We have our colors picked out, what our cake will look like, our DIY invitations. We're still searching for the right place to have it. It's so exciting!
That's about all that's been going on really. :)
