I haven't updated at all lately. it seems like i never have the time anymore, what with working and everything else going on.
Work
It's actually good. I don't hate my job at all. I like most of the people I work with and the weeks just fly by. I can't complain too much about an 8-5 job with half days on fridays and weekends off. The pay isn't as terrible as my past jobs either so that's a plus. Maybe one day i'll take some classes and actually become a dental assistant or something.
Life
This year has been, nothing short of great.
Our apartment is so nice. We just went and bought a new bedroom furniture set the other weekend and it finally comes in tomorrow and I cannot wait until we get it all set up. Plus we got an awesome new comfy mattress and bedding set that i'm ready to try! I decided that I'd really love to have twins and I want to have them soon, as in yesterday. I'd make a great mom! Justin is so amazing to me, he's definitely my better half. We look forward to wedding bells and diapers in our near future ;) Maybe. haha.
Family
We had some ups and downs with my cousin and all, but he's on the road to recovery and looks outstanding. you'd never know just by looking at him what he's been through. We through him a benefit here in Victoria and we raised 40 grand. 40 GRANNNND. We weren't even expecting to make a quarter of that. So many people helped make that happen. He went in for some reconstructive surgery and ended up finding another tumor but they got rid of that one and were able to fix his nose and cheek bones! I'm so proud of him for how strong he's been through this. On another note, I'm so glad to be home with my family now. I love New Jersey and miss it every single day, but at least I know we can always go back. I know how hard it must be for Justin to be away from his family now as well. His brother just came and visited and his mom is going to be coming in September for our birthdays so we're looking forward to that! We took his brother up to Austin and had such a GREAT time! Which brings me to...
Austin
We drove up to Austin and met up with our friend Richard. We went out for some of the best pizza we've ever had and did some shopping. Then we went to Mohawk to the Everyone Knows Everyone show with Recover, Young Love, Rory and the Artificial Heart, Old Coyote and a few more. We had more fun than we can even handle that night. We were in the VIP section right on top, on the balcony. Or at least it should have been the VIP section with the leather chairs and all and having such a great view. Dan Keyes took our picture. Old Coyote is one of the best things to come out of Austin if you haven't heard of them yet. When they were on stage, their parents must have all been out in the audience and you could barely hold back the tears as all the fathers were singing along to their kids songs. You could tell how proud they were without even having to say it, just by the looks on their faces and how loud they were singing. It was touching. Dan Keyes is probably the coolest, suave guy ever. Just watch the video I took. I wish we could re-live that whole day. It was so much fun.
Too Young To Fight It I didn't do this first video, obviously, but it proves my cool and suave comment to the max.

Future
We're going to see Matt Pryor at the end of this month. I couldn't be more anxious. I'm hoping to do some painting again since I haven't done any since I started working which was already forever ago. We're going to the lake labor day weekend for the day to go tubing! Maybe Fiesta Texas will be in the mix another weekend. Me and Lisa have been going to the gym lately and hopefully this time next year i'll be lean and tan! haha
Anyway this is long enough. I just wanted to update with how happy I am with my life at the moment. Not to gush, but just to have something to look back on if I'm ever having a dull moment in time. At least I can say things were great and I have so much to be thankful for!
