happy 4 years world of warcraft
my cousin makes lists because she's neurotic, and likes to feel accomplished in the day, so she puts things down like 'shower' and 'dishes'. my list for today was:
* hit lvl 73
* shower
* find pants
* help find ymk a winter jacket
* read some of the philosophy of derrida which i currently only read on the subway/streetcar to/from work.
* plan out other kel's drawing
* see repo! the genetic opera which i'm v. v. excited about. Paris <3 Sarah Brightman <3 Giles. and Paris <3.
other kel completed his desk together, it was only $90 from canadian tire and is really quite spiffy looking. i really enjoy when we acquire a new thing in our home, as it makes it feel a little more complete. and it's great that we all have a desk with our own space now too, as we do spend a lot of time on our computers with this whole expansion thing that came out.
last night a bunch of us went out to lahore tikka house on gerrard st. o so delicious. i loove the food there so much, especially the chick pea something or other dish. as we were waiting for the streetcar afterwards, we were rambling about the psychology of wow or some such thing, and this drunken happy muslim guy shouted "obama!" behind us. He proceeded to ramble to mostly ymk and melissa about how he looked like obama (he had the same smile as him, certainly) and how the persian language was really from afghanistan (where he was originally from). he was so pleasant and happy. the people here, random encounters especially, are so interesting and xlnt.
lahore tikka house - the walls have shawls stapled to them as their decoration. this is my favourite restaurant in toronto thus far.
