Went to Jim's last night after band practice with Pat.
Jim's is the best equivalent to all-night diners back home that I've seen in Texas so far. Except that it's a chain. I'm pretty positive they haven't changed any carpet or furniture in the location I was at last night since the seventies.
I had two scrambled eggs and then two bisuits which were smothered with white gravy and bits of sausage. It was delicious, but now I kind of have a belly ache. And I'm definitely not hungry for breakfast.
Texas wins again.
In other news, Melissa's in CT for a week. It's definitely quieter without her here.. and not in a good way, either.
I'm going to Dallas for new years.
Definitely never thought I'd ever be in Dallas for new years.
ralpheewpi just moved there this week, and I'm going to help he and his family get moved in. Play some guitar, drink some beer. You know, good times.
