Theological Notebook: Whither the Gift of the Gab?
Oof! Just finished a seven-hour run of research-writing, after finishing my classes this afternoon. How can I know all I know, and have the fabled Irish Gift of the Gab, and still academic writing is as slow as it is?
Time to go home!
Highlight of the day, my Catholicism student Richard, still impressed and amazed by the difference between the kinds of things thought about in actual academic theology vs. the version of the material you get in childhood religious education, just bursting out with an exclamation that sputtered out with, "... But this stuff? ... Wowww! I mean, really...: WOW!"
