back..... damn turtles!!!

well kiddies it has come to my attention that I have not updated my livejournal in like forever. For that I truly apologize. I had no idea how much you would all miss it. So I promise.. no I solemly swear that I'm... ( damn you Harry Potter!) no I swear I will try to upadate this at least once a week so you will not miss me too much.
o.k I have turtle issues! So last week a friend of mine (who will remain nameless to protect their idenity.. don't need any crazy turtle fans after him!) had me watch like 5 eposides of Teenage Mutin Ninja Turtles cartoon. I will admitt that I have never seen this cartoon before (wasn't a fan of the turtles as a child) and well... yea. The cartoon is o.k but I have some issues with it.
What is up with the really bad one liners? Like 5% of them were slightly funny and them the rest were just... wrong. The second thing is April. O.k I heart that there is a girl on that show but wow they make her so dumb. she has one outfit. O.k seriously buy another outfit. They wil show her in her yellow outfit then in a bathrobe then she puts back on the dirty yellow outfit! Why is it that she only gets to report the news? I know that that is her job but why doesn't she get to fight? I know that she doesn't know the ninja moves but why can't they teach her. The turtles didn't know anything until the rat guy taught them and then they became all cool and ninja like. The rat guy can't teach April anything! Why becuase she is a girl. Well she doesn't have any ninja skills and she doesn't have any computer skils. What is she going to do? Guys only date girls with skills! ( Oh Napolean.... is there every a time in life when that movie doesn't apply) but seriously they should teach april how to be one with the ninjaness. Plus it didn't help that I got the theme song stuck in my head thursday ( that theme song really doesn't go with a class on Genocide in Yugoslavia) so yea I have issues with.... sexist yea you heard me sexist turtles!
well my kiddies I must go. I'm watching a movie with a friend so I'm off!
