1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? The only thing I can think of is travel somewhere by bus. So not much, then.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn't make any, I'm actually making some this year though for probably the first time

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? LIFE DIRECTION! That is really all I want.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? I don't know, maybe the day I moved to Charlottetown
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? doing really awesome in all my courses last semester
9. What was your biggest failure? I didn't have any, or not really I don't think?

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Charleen and Alison for letting me live with them! Charleen again for helping me get a job for the summer. Leslie for driving me to school this semester.

26. What was the best book you read? I re-read a lot of awesome books this summer like "middlesex" and "the bell jar" but I also really liked David Sedaris and Virginia Woolf this year

28. What did you want and get? a good university experience, a job for the summer and one this fall, to finish up my first year
29. What did you want and not get? to move out of my house, to figure out where I want to be in my life currently
30. What was your favorite film of this year? I didn't watch a lot of movies this year, I really liked Transamerica though
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 19 and I worked and got hit on by a creepy old dude and then John came over!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? direction! I sound like a broken record, can you tell what is on my mind a lot lately?
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? This was the year I realized that clothes are supposed to fit you! My "fashion concept" would be half-assed trendy, thrift store crap and band shirts.

36. What political issue stirred you the most? The election I guess because I actually got to vote
37. Who did you miss? all of my friends at various points during the year
38. Who was the best new person you met? Megan even though I technically met her like 5 years ago.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: while I often expect the worst from people I generally don't see it from anyone other than myself. also, sometimes going nowhere is okay as long as you're happy.

2006 was an okay year I guess. I kind of feel like nothing happened. It started off really well living in Charlottetown which was really really great, and then I moved home and that sucked for a while, and then I got my job and I was really happy and had a really awesome summer, and then I got my other job and started school part-time and that was okay. Just generally I feel like I didn't move in any sort of direction and I'm no better off in that regard than I was last year and that's kind of depressing since the whole reason I stayed home this year was to figure out what I want to do and I have given it no thought whatsoever. Still I think the good out-weighed the bad by a lot this year, which is a nice change from last year's crapfest!
