Aaah
So...
Yesterday I made up for not giving Dunder long walks lately - and then some! Morning - the long walk around the neighborhood, Dunder got to wear his backpack too.
Spent most of the day judging my conf and a few other things.
Then around 3 pm I walked to meet dad, he was picking me up to go to the farm, I was invited for dinner. Usually they pick me up outside the apartment, but I can also cross the whole area and walk down through another neighborhood and then a short bit through the woods, and meet dad there. That road is shorter to drive buuuut the woods portion, you can't drive through there, so I need to walk those 30-or-so min to get there. I do it when the weather is nice and such but it's not really an option when it's dark or similar.
So Dunder got antoher walk, backpack again - not that I brought a lot to the farm but it was quite handy to let him carry everythign for once, LOL!
Once at the farm I snuggled with the dogs, of course. Viggo is kinda my boy and he was soooo happy to see me - started to whine and stuff when I petted him haha! He's so funny, and such a sweet boy. Elsa is in heat at the moment and in a "I hate the world" type of mood but she was happy to see me too, as was Tina of course. And then SAGA. OMG, can we say crazy puppy?! She's like "OMFG YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND" whenever someone (anyone, haha) greets her. And she's So. Damn. Cute! You can tell she's got more black coming in now, she's got like a dark stripe of heavier roaning on her upper body, it looks neat. Viggo likes her (except when she plays overly rough, which is most of the time) but Elsa doesn't care for her. They're pretty OK as long as Saga ignores her, f.ex. Saga sleeps in a crate, so when it's sleepy time they just close the crate door and Elsa can stand and glare at her in peace haha.
The cats have learnt to get along well too, they will follow each other around and play now, which is nice to see as Lakrits didn't like Findus at all at first. Haha, Findus is damn amusing. Once she jumped into the bath tub when mom was taking a bath. She stays mostly on the upper floor and had gone into the tub before - only then it was empty... needless to say she got quite the surprise when it was filled with water! She'sd done the same with the toilet too, actually, and twice at that - used to jumping onto it when the seat was down, but a couple of times it was up XD
We had a traditional xmas dinner, may seem early but my parents have decided to stop having it at xmas instead, because it's a huge hassle to set up that sort of smorgasbord, a lot of it isn't the type of food lil kids love that much and so on... so now they just make a rather fancy dinner (compared to a normal one, at least!), one course that everyone likes you know?
I also got lots of frozen foods, home made lasagna and some other stuff, from mom, yay! To bring to the apartment, I mean.
I also took Dunder for another 40 min or so walk while at the farm, so LOTS of walking for him yesterday! No complaints from him there...
Haha, when I was going home, I was standing waiting for dad, Dunder with his backpack. Both cats were out. Lakrits is curious about Dunder but keeps her distance. Now Findus just walked straight up to him, not the LEAST bit worried! Tail up and everything. Never seen a cat quite THAT unafraid of a strange dog, especially seeing how she's grown up with small dogs, never seen one as big as Dunder before! But yeah, she sniffed him all over and kinda just stayed near us. I held Dunder around his neck/front just in case he'd make a sudden movement - to be honest I don't think he knew what to do - he wasn't angry, but not wagging his tail either, as a matter of fact, he started to shake! I suppose he got excited... or nervous? Or terrified of the ickle cat? Who knows XD
We were supposed to meet in the base group at uni today and discuss our internships, but a classmate texted me last night and said several felt they'd rather stay at home and work, no disagreements there... so here we are monday morning and I'm at home, yay! And yes, procastrinating like no tomorrow but I HAVE written a bit on my exam essay too... On wednesday, we've a meeting or sorts at uni and we're going to discuss it some then, so we'll see what they say. My goal is to have the basic essay finnished before the end of the week, then next week I won't have so much time to work on it what with xmas and all, and I REALLY don't want to worry about it right then... and then towards beginning of january I want to look at it again, will be good to let it "rest" for a bit you know? It's to be done by jan 7th. Ugh, these reports are made of FAIL I can say that much...
