A while ago, I came across Claus Brusen's bienial of Magic Realism, which this year focuses on Dante's Divine Comedy. I figured that my work might fit this theme, so I contacted Claus and asked him to look at my work and see if I could be in this show. He replied that yes it fit the theme and that he would love to have some of my work in this show. With that taken care of, we were left with the problem of getting my stuff to his gallery in Saeby, Denmark.
So, last weekend, Isabelle and I went on a little roadtrip. We left wednesday night, drove to Osnabruck in Germany, and the next day entered Denmark, where we visited Kolding and spent the night in Arhus, Denmark's second largest city.

Friday morning, we drove to Saeby, dropped off the sculptures at the gallery, had a nice chat with Claus and then headed further up along the coast to the northernmost point of Denmark: Grenen, where the North Sea and the Baltic Sea violently collide.

After that, we headed back to Arhus and the next day visited Ribe, Denmark's oldest town, Mogeltonder and Tonder, before heading back into Germany and our hotel in Bremen.
Due to unforseen circumstances, we couldn't visit Bremen on sunday, so instead, we stopped in Münster, where we had a great time.
Sunday afternoon, around 5pm, we got back home, after putting another 2.400km on little Peanut's odometer.
And this is basically what it's all about:
